The Escort

Maddy was sitting in front of Marcos mom and sibling that night.

They're having a formal dinner and same old shit. She was stuck in a situation na pinaka hate niya.

Marco's mom was a typical old lady having a younger look. Alam naman niya na ayaw sakanya nito. But she have to be on that dinner because she still has that so called "respect."

"How many years you've been together Maddy?" Emerald ask in her sophisticated voice. Her eyes were fix on her plate and has a poker face.

"Four." Tipid na sagot niya. Well that was a stupid question as she knew every single detail of her favorite son.

From there she heard Gino smirked. Marcos younger brother. Naka ngisi ito sakanya, he was a typical fuck boy guy. Hindi iilang beses na nag pahiwatig ito ng sex sakanya. She saw the lady took a deep breath, and before she heard him curse she was out of her sight. "Respect begets respect indeed."

She walk out of the dungeon with grace and drive away.

It all started with a bitter fate.

The story of her parents were untold, She grew up with her uncle Robert his fathers only brother. From there she was a slave. At her early age she need to work day and night to support his uncle. As a child it was easy to dictate an  innocent mind.

She scream with so much pain and agony she even fainted. Next thing she knew, Marco took her as a wife. Na inlove ang gago. He took advantage of her trauma and so much fear.

She never saw Robert since then.

Maddy knew, that she was a wise woman. She's waiting for her turning point. "I swear I'm gonna kill that bastard." she said as she press her speed while driving.

"They say God created everything... he created heaven and earth and all the beautiful things. I'm starting to believe that he has favorite. And I'm not lucky."

She was in her deep thoughts as she parked her car and get out of it. She start to walk towards the bar.

She can't hear the music, as if it was an empty place... all she was hearing was tinnitus. "I don't even know why I exist."  then she started to have some suicidal thought. "Should I?"

Everything was in slow motion as she walk, and slowly her eyes catches a familiar warm smile. So warm it embrace her even from a distance. She felt her knees got weak... after so long she felt the warm liquid flowing through her cheeks.

Zed smiling at her from a distance became statue as she saw her crying, She saw her mouth open but she couldn't hear what she said.

Maddy cross the distance between them as she pass out.

Zed saw a familiar figure at the bar, she left the counter para lapitan si Maddy. She was excited to see her and talk to her again.

She was quite shocked when she saw her crying at napahinto siya sa pag lapit dito "A-are you ok?" tanong niya.

Maddy walk towards her, she even put her right hand below her chin and gave her a gentle kiss. She thought she was dreaming but realize it was real as Maddy pass out in front of her.
