Two Worlds

PROLOGUE

I was just seeking for the love and attention that my parents can't give. An acceptance for who I am, with my flaws and imperfections.

"Welcome here! This is our safe haven. Feel at home!"

They welcomed me with their warmest greetings. They accept and understand me and they become a big part of me.

"Ang gwapo ko talaga"

"Ang hangin mo talaga. Dyan ka na nga Mr. Aircon."

And met a lot of new people. Including this guy who's so full of himself.

"You deserve it. Among any of us, you're the most deserving of that position. Congrats!"

"You are so cute. "

"You look a bit off. Does something happen?"

"I'm willing to listen. Go on and tell me what happened."

"Wow, you did this? You are so talented!"

I can't help but to slowly falling for him. A little attraction becomes love that's totally change my nature.

"I know we just met a weeks before, but I'm already in to you. Can I court you?"

And then he courted me. Make me feel that I was the prettiest and luckiest person in the world because I have him.

"Thank you for the attention, love and care that you gave to me. I didn't expect meeting you in my life, you're like a lightning that struck me so hard. I love you. Let's make this official."

I was genuinely happy when I met him. Everyday feels like magical because of him, because of his corny lines and jokes. My boring and surreal life becomes wonderful because of his existence.

"Do you want to join our university? We're hiring admins."

"Yes please."

"You are hired. Welcome to the group!"

Met new sets of friends. Learn to socialize with other and develop my self confidence over the days.

"Happy birthday!"

Celebrate my birthday with my new and old friends. Creating new memories with the people that are really important to me.

"I'm expecting you! Ano bang hindi mo maintindihan doon?"

Happiness aren't meant to last. Every happiness have it's end.

"You promised! You broke your fucking promise! Nangako ka eh! Nangako kayo!"

Whatever the situation is, fights and endings are inevitable. Whatever your relation, you can't escape the inevitable.

"You are not that friends that I have before! You are far from it, nag-iba na kayo! Ibang-iba na kayo!"

"Let's just end this friendship. There's no way we can fix what are already broken. Let's accept the fate that our friendship aren't mean to stay forever."

"Since you all had your new friends, go with them! I don't care anymore. Goodbye."

I am so scared that the things and relations I value so much, are slowly facing its end.

"I came in this world to escape the reality. Hby?"

We met in the world were we can get our own freedom. We dive in a world of fantasy to escape the never-ending problem in reality.

"I'm so curious about you. You're mysterious so, I make things to be close to you and to know you better."

They said that if someone leave, there's someone comes.

"I'm happy that I met you."

"The moon is beautiful, isn't?"

Falling inlove with someone aren't part of the plan, but suddenly I fall in love with her.

"Do you think we should continue this?"

"Of course! Let's conquer the world together. "

We becomes each other's shoulder. Experience the highest of highs and lowest of lows with each other. Our relationship are too strong to broke.

"Stop being narcissist. Not all things are about you! The world doesn't revolve just for you! Wake up, this isn't a fairytale."

I thought we're already strong, but when the two of us drowned in toxicity. Our mental health becomes unstable, we start to become suicidal. Who will come to save us?

"Please replied. I can't take it. please I need you."

And later on, I found myself ghosted her. Ghosted the person that gives her love for me. Ghosted the person who always choose me above anything else.

"Thank you to this world, but it's time to wake up and face the reality."

The day finally comes. The end of my stay.

"The sunset is beautiful, isn't?"
