Chapter 2
I slowly opened my eyes,
Where am I?
Inilibot ko ang paningin ko. I am in a white-- familiar room.
By the looks of it, I sure as hell would bet that I am in a hospital room.
I tried to get up but couldn't. Umiikot ang paningin ko and I am seeing black dots dancing in my vision. I closed my eyes to regain my focus.
"She's awake!" narinig kong bulalas ng kung sino. I forced to open my eyes again. I looked beside me and saw my friends.
"Babae! Ok ka na ba?!" That was Elyn.
"Mau?" I heard Princess saying.
I kept silent trying to remember what had happened.
"Uy? Ok ka lang? We were so worried about you..." si Mary Grace.
"How... What... why am I--!? Oh my God! I can't remember what the hell happened to me?" nahihintakutang tanong ko.
"W-wala kang maalala?" Elyn asked. Shocked.
"What do you mean you don't remember? Kilala mo ba kami?" Princess panicked and my eyes widened while looking at her. "OMG! Don't tell me you have amnesia!"
We all gasped in unison.
"Maurice, this isn't a good joke. I'm telling you. I'm gonna kick your ass despite of your condition." Elyn threatened. Hindi pa din ako nagsasalita.
"OMG! I'm probably right! She has amnesia! Hindi niya na tayo kilala!" Princess exclaimed on the verge of crying.
"I should ring the doctor." hindi magkanda-ugagang sabi ni Mary Grace.
"No-no.. wait." pigil ko kay Mary Grace when she was about to press the speed dial.
She stopped and the three of them stared at me worriedly. It was heart warming to see your friends getting all worked up. Not that I enjoy seeing them this worried but-- well, you know the drill. Sort it out.
"Relax guys, I can clearly remember you. Just..."
"You know me? Kilala mo kami?" Princess asked.
I breathed out, "Obviously Princess."
"Oh thank goodness! Akala ko you forgot us na!" Princess said then practically smashed me with a big hug followed by my other two friends who were on the verge of tears. I laughed.
"Sheez! Gather your wits people! Go away or you're going to kill me of suffocation." I said.
Isa-isa naman silang kumalas at naupo sa gilid ng kama ko. They helped me sit up.
"Why am I here?" I finally asked
"What?"
"Seriously guys, bakit naka-cast ang paa ko? Bakit sobrang sakit ng tuhod ko? What the hell happened to me?!"
Nagkatinginan nalang silang tatlo.

"Mau? Ba't pumasok ka na? Hindi pa magaling iyang paa mo ah!" Natitilihang pahayag ni Mary Grace nang magkasalubong kami sa hallway ng University.
Papunta ako sa abandoned playground ng school. Alam ko kasi na doon tumatambay si G-Ford kapag mga ganitong oras.
"I have to. Marami na din akong na-missed na lessons eh. Mahirap na." Sagot ko. I've been absent for about two weeks now. I stayed in the hospital for a week and was finally sent home to rest for another week.
