Acceptance (Voltron AU/Fanfiction.)

Chapter 1

Hello everyone! Welcome to my first Voltron Fanfiction! I hope you enjoy the first chapter.

This AU is my good Kuro AU, where kuro was originally a failed experiment for a unknown reason and was sent to die on the planet that Keith and Shiro end up on during the wormhole mishap. They find Kuro and take him in, he basically becomes good and Shiro never dies at the end of the season.

TW⚠️!: Amnesia.

"Oh...! He's waking up!"

The man felt his eyes flicker open, his body starting to feel like it was immense pain.. he knew it wasn't a good sign but he let his eyes focus for some time as he began to look around his location.

He seemed to be in a healing pod of sorts, and his body had felt immense pain due to falling out of that said pod.

'So that's why I feel so much pain right now...?' The man thought to himself as he heard some sort of argument going on from afar.

"Wait?! What do you mean that this isn't Shiro?!" One voice said,

"I'm right here!- ... Look he saved my life when we were trapped through the wormhole. I can trust him I know that for sure." The voice that seemed to be Shiro had said,

What did they mean by them trusting him? His head had begun to pound as he had begun to walk around a bit but had soon fallen because his body felt like it hadn't walked before. The first voice had soon pulled out his bayard and pointed it straight at the mysterious man, his eyes looked like they were angry at him as the voice soon yelled,

"DONT MOVE. WE WILL SHOOT IF YOU DONT COOPERAT-OW!"

"knock it off Lance!"

Lance had soon gotten slapped in the back of the head by the Shiro person, by this time the young man was so terrified he had covered his ears and had stood still on the spot. Shiro soon softly sat next to the man as he softly rubbed the man's back as he said with a reassuring smile.

"Are you alright? I wanted to thank you for saving my life..."

The man looked down as he noticed that one of his arms, his right one specifically was a prosthetic. He was confused as well as scared.... no terrified. He didn't know what to do until he had felt Shiro rub his back. He felt like he could trust this guy....

"I-I'm sorry.... I don't really remember much.... even my name is a blur....."

Everyone's eyes had widened in shock as they tried not to yell due to the man's sudden sensitivity to loud noises, a seemingly short girl with Rounded Glasses and short light brown hair adjusted said glasses as she had begun to type away on her computer as she had said,

"It seems he has a severe case of retrograde amnesia.... this is kinda ironic considering Shiro's temporary amnesia when we first came to the castle of lions but his... seems permanent."

The man's eyes widened in shock as he had begun to clutch his fists as he slowly stood up and looked at the girl as he said to her before wincing softly,

'Ignore it.... you can live through this....' he thought to himself as he stared at the girl before saying to her.

"H-How did it become almost permanent?!" He said while stumbling on his words for a bit. The Girl looked over at The man as she said,

"I'm not sure myself...but your injuries come first... I'm sorry if that was Weird. I'm Pidge... why don't we come up with a name for you?"

The Man's eyes widened softly as he nodded his head okay as he smiled at her as she came over to him and lightly ruffled his head which made him softly laugh as she said to him,

"Alright! Do you have any name suggestions?"

The Man soon thought for a minute.... what name would be good for him? Oh! He got one!

"W-What about Kuron? With Kuro as a nickname?"

Everyone soon stared at Kuron with a almost shocked look on their face, Kuron felt like he had done something wrong as he scratched the back of his head as he had said to the group,

"Um.. was it something I said?"

The others soon looked at Each other before Shiro nodded his head no as he held out his hand for Kuron to hold onto as he said to the taller male,

"No it's nothing Kuron. Let's get you something to eat as well as a change of clothes."

Kuron nodded his head okay as he looked down at the current clothes that he was wearing.. it looked something like a prison uniform... but what had he done? He didn't remember doing anything wrong....

But for now, he wanted to focus on one thing... and that was to eat something and change into something else.....

"OW! S-STOP MY HAIR HURTS!"

Kuron had been fidgeting around as Pidge was trying her best to brush His hair which was very messy from being in prison for so long,  he pouted softly at Pidge as he crossed his arms as Shiro had walked to see the situation and he was certainly surprised by it, after all Kuron had managed to take a shower by self but had difficulties brushing his own hair.

After all, Kuro was like him in many ways but had almost seemed like a child.... maybe he was like a kid with no memories...

Pidge sighed to herself as she continued to try her best as she said to him while starting to become irritated, "well it wouldn't hurt as much if you didn't squirm as much!"

Kuron slightly nodded his head okay as Shiro had walked into the room, he noticed Kuron's changed expression as he sighed softly as he said to her, "here Pidge let me try." Pidge sighed in relief before giving Shiro the brush. Shocked was a understatement when Shiro had managed to brush Kuron's hair without any problem and had even helped Kuron get Pajamas on since they knew he would need help with getting dressed for a bit. Shiro soon picked up Kuron who had started to seem tired and brought him to his own room, it was in between Pidge and Shiro's room so he could go there if he needed help.

Kuron was soon tucked in by Shiro and Pidge had given him one of her pillows as he soon begun to fall asleep before muttering.

"Good night big brother..... good night Pidge...."

Shiro had soon felt himself become flustered out of embarrassment which made Pidge lightly chuckle, the two went to the lounge and talked with the other paladins  a bit before everyone soon went to bed themselves.

After all, Kuron would soon change their lives.
