The Bond

Chapter 3

"No I can't" I said to Mrs sprinkles not now it's very late and you know that Mrs sprinkles . Mrs sprinkles then entered and came in sat beside me and said "and a good time to talk to each other" but I replied with the answer no but after a time i found myself on the streets walking straight to her house .

I reached the house and this time I knocked the door really hard which I do not know why ,but this time it was a cute little boy who opened the door and asked who am I looking for. I told him Catie Clark ,he also asked if i knew her, I could not answer that but even before I could answer he closed the  door and a person who looked just like the first girl just opened the door and said "I guess you really do remember me" i asked if it was catie she also answered" yes it's me".  Well I do not know if  what am saying is true but ,she was quite rude and had changed very much, she then asked why I was here, I later  told her I wanted to have a word with her, she then answered quickly with the word yes and that's when our conversation begun.

We walked all around talking about the things we use to do in the past like hopscotch , skipping  and other fun things .On our way back, I saw catie feeling bad and I then decided to ask her why she has that face on, she told me it's because she missed me but now that I am back we can not be friends, because our parents had some misunderstanding and told me we can no longer be friends.I asked what was that misunderstanding about, but she told me she never knew what that was about so we can never be friends .

I couldn't believe what I was hearing, but an idea came into my head and told her all about it and she agreed to help me do it .

     That morning we got a knock on the door and it  was catie and her family holding a lot of goodies saying that they were invited for breakfast ,Mrs sprinkles was so confused that she looked straight at me and all I could do was to give her a smile so she let them in and they came in and sat down. We started eating but all of a sudden catie got up and told me to also get up , I did not know what she was up to but I still did what she said ,she now picked up a paper which said "Dear parents, I know you will be wondering why I and Alex brought you here but do not worry, all we wanted to do was to reunite each family. We used to be great family friends but now look at us, we are like enemies and do not celebrate with each other again and you that is not a good thing, so please, if you have understood me, please get up and give each other a hug and also gifts . Thank You."

It was a nice speech I say, this made each family stare at each other and just gave each other big hugs and goodies, this made them stay much longer, we sang ,played board games and more .They all left feeling happy ,Well after all this am sure our  families  were  now reunited and now are friends.
