The school day went by rather quickly and I ended up having four other classes with Haley and two others with her friend Brittany. When the final bell had rang I grabbed my things and walked out of class as quickly as possible. When I got outside I looked for the car like Henry had told me and no doubt about it there was a black Chevy Camaro parked right there with a big red bow on it. I headed over to it and looked inside and there was a note inside so I opened the door and tossed my things in the passenger seat and grabbed the note.
Think of it as a early birthday gift the keys are in the glove department
Uncle Henry.
I smiled at the note shoving it in my pocket and went into the glove department to retrieve the keys. Once the car was started I proceeded to back out but I stopped when I saw someone coming along side of the car. When i looked out the mirror I saw a familiar smile and I rolled down the window when the person reached my side of the car.
"Hey, you do know there's a huge red bow on the top of your car right?" Haley asked looking and pointing to it and I chuckled forgetting that it was even there.
"Oh yeah" I replied as she took it down and handed it to me.
"So I'm assuming this is a gift?"
"Yup my uncle didn't like me driving his car so he got me my own"
"Nice, well I know this might sound strange but could I ask you for a favor?"
"Yeah anything"
"Is there anyway you could be my partner for History and Chem class? Brittany has neither of those classes and no one else really actually does their work" She said and I chuckled again.
"Of course I'd be happy to" I told her as her smile brightened and she quickly grabbed a piece of paper and wrote on it handing it to over to me when she was done.
"This is my phone number text me later so we can figure out where we should meet up and everything else" she said and I nodded.
"Will do" I told her.
I smiled as I started the car back up and took off out of the parking lot to began my journey home. It had been a while since I last ate and now I was on the verge of starving. When I got closer to home I picked up my speed and drove faster as I sped into my long driveway. I could feel my skin staring to burn as if I were on fire and my mouth became dry. When I made it to the house I parked and quickly grabbed my things and I was inside in seconds.
"Noah is that you?" My uncle called out and I hurried to the kitchen and nearly ripped the fridge door off the hinges as I opened it and grabbed a blood bag. Hungrily ripping open the package I drank the bag dry.
"Yeah it's me" I called back grabbing another and drinking that one dry too.
"I'm going out for more blood bags i'll be back in like an hour" He called out to me again and I growled in response. After that I heard the door shut and the car engine roar. It wasn't long before I couldn't hear my uncles car anymore but at least my hunger was somewhat fulfilled. I made my way down the hall to living room when I heard something moving around.
"Uncle Henry?" I called out but there was nothing but think air around me. I walked into the living room and looked around and the movement was back only moving around me faster and I couldn't see what it was. I turned in circles and looked up at the top floor banister and suddenly I was thrown to the floor and held down by the neck. When I looked up I stared in horror and tried to move but couldn't.
"Kendall?" I said shocked to see her and she smiled evilly and her eyes went from veiny and red back to normal.
"Hello big brother, did you miss me?" She asked and I sighed laying my head back.
