I was all dressed to go to the Grill later that evening for dinner with Klaus. Before leaving, I scanned the outfit I'd picked carefully all morning. The white crop top corset matched fine with the cream coloured skirt and I smiled a little to myself. Then, I slipped on some black boots and headed out.

As I walked into the Grill, I spotted the Scooby gang sitting at their usual table, with Damon and Alaric occupying by the bar. My handsome mate sat alone at a booth in the far right corner of the room. The minute I entered they all looked at me, wearing different expressions, the Scooby gang with curiosity, Damon with anger, Alaric with sympathy and Klaus with love. I walked over to Klaus and sat in front of him. He gave me a devilish grin and I could feel their eyes burning holes at the side of my face.

"You look ravishing, love." He complimented, before leaning over to kiss me on the cheek, but I moved away, leaving him with hanging with a sad expression.

"I think we need to take things a bit slower, puppy. It would take more than a date to go there." I said to him in a slightly mocking tone.

"Oh really?" He raises an eyebrow at me surprised. "You didn't seem to hesitate last night."

"I-" I looked down on my fingers. He was right.

"Okay" is that it? "I get it. We'll do it your way." I smiled, looking at him. He gestures towards the door and I look at him with a confused expression.

"What?" I asked.

"I respect your choice, if you don't want me to touch you then so be it. However it won't just be me in pain you will too. Anyway we need to go, the Grill isn't where we are having out date, it's not private to many people can hear us." He says, I look around and could see all of them still looking at me. Will they ever get tired of craning their neck?

"Fine with me. Let's go."

"Here we are." He said.

"Where exactly are we?" Klaus had placed a blindfold over my eyes since I entered the car. All I know was we had been driving for quite a bit.

"Follow me." He took my hand and rested it on his forearm. I curled my hand around his bicep and we begin walking.

"Klaus?"

"I want it to be a surprise." he mumbles.

After a approximately thirty steps, the silk that blocked my vision was untied and my eyes weren't covered anymore.

"We're here."

Looking around, I was amazed. A waterfall is  springing out fresh water. A gazebo is lit up with lantern, food and drinks were placed inside the gazebo making my mouth water. Soft music was playing from somewhere and candles were lit everywhere. Klaus even had rose petals placed all around the area, making a path.

"Klaus, it's so perfect. I... I love it, I love you." I whisper the last bit, but of course he heard me.

"You what?" He teased, taking ahold of my waist.

"I-Nothing. Forget I said that." I was lost. I sounded so materialistic.

"I love you more, Monique Gilbert." He murmured into my ear.

"Not possible." I say quietly.

"Yes, it's possible." He then leans in and placed a warm passionate kiss on my pink lips, pushing me agains a tree, blocking any chance of escape.

After a moment, he pulls away, both of us panting heavily.Klaus rested his forehead against mine and I closed my eyes. He was exhilarating. He took my hand and lead me into the gazebo before sitting me down and kissed me again. This was all wrong. It was so wrong yet it felt so right.

"Klaus. Stop, I told you, you need to earn this." I said.

"Did I not earn it by doing this?" He asked, placing gentle and light kisses along my jaw.

"By doing this you've earned a kiss, but you need to earn more than this to see me shirtless, darling."I teased, laughing.

"You Monique Gilbert are a very difficult woman to please." He muttered, fuelling my to laughter.

For the rest of the night, we ate, talked, danced and enjoyed each other's presence. Klaus was gentleman enough to keep his feelings at bay. It made me feel like a princess. Time flew past so quickly, it was almost midnight by the time he dropped me off at my house.

When I entered the living room everyone was present in the living room. They were laughing about something when I closed the door and walked over to them.

"Hey Monique." Stefan greeted from the recline sofa.

"Where did he take you?" My little brother asked, looking up at me from the floor.

"Somewhere in the woods." I answered, placing my keys in on top of the fireplace.

"What did he do to you?" Elena ask worried.

"Nothing, he treated me to dinner, that's all."

"You need to stop being vague and tell us everything now!" The blond gossip queen demanded.

"Yeah Caroline, not tonight."

"Don't be silly, come on." She said, crossing her arms.

"Well, after we left he brought me to the woods, he covered my eyes and brought me to clearing. There was a waterfall, a gazebo lit with lanterns food and drinks inside, candles was lit and rose petals was everywhere and soft music was playing. I was honestly surprised, I didn't know the big bad hybrid has a romantic side, it was the best night of my life, so far." I winked at the last bit it made Caroline giggled and everyone's face to pale with disgust.

"Oh my freaking god! That sound so romantic, why can't Tyler be like that! Can you maybe ask you're mate to let Tyler go, because that sire bond is making Tyler a real jerk." Caroline muttered.

"Of course, I'll ask him."

"He won't listen to you! Don't you see? He's just using you! He has no heart!" Damon protested.

"No, the last time I checked, you didn't have a heart too."

"Listen to yourself. Are you crazy? You're defending that monster? Hell-o? Earth to Monique. It's Klaus we're talking about not some fluffy bunny."

"Damon shut the hell up! If he is playing me then he will suffer!" I seethed, turning away and storming to my room.
