CONFRONTATION WASN'T THE STRONG SUIT of Merumo, heck she would just send a letter or text them about the situation to avoid any physical or eye contact. She had somewhat broken out of her shell but that doesn't mean she's already comfortable with it.

Maybe this is one of the reasons why Thomas likes to think of her as a baby. She feels like a baby, many things still coming at her way, unprepared for the world or the situations of it.

It was somewhat true. She could overcome it but her wallflower personality and the laziness doesn't seem to go away after all. She needed guidance and inspiration like a snap of a finger.

But the girl had to this, she wanted to know what had happened to her precious, or maybe even favorite, cousin. He had somewhat disappeared after a few years of her life then just suddenly reappearing like magic? That's kinda messed up in her opinion.

Merumo though was kinda grateful that Zay's somewhat love life knows her cousin. They had met, now they just needed to talk. To confront each other.

Let's just hope this will go well.

"SO," THOMAS COUGHS, SITTING DOWN BESIDE MERUMO, looking at the wall with a small smile. "What do you want to talk about? My fucked up life or why did I suddenly appear in Texas?"

The question would've made Merumo snort in amusement, but she knew this wasn't some laughing business. The topic seems to be sensitive for the older, just plastering a small fake smile seems to make him better.

"Both, if you're okay with it." was her short simple answer. Expecting her to answer like that, Thomas sighs deeply, looking up at the ceiling with a pained frown.

"Did my mom or dad say anything about my disappearance?" the question caught the girl off guard. She had thought that he would practically make his story like a failed fairy tale or some sort. But to be greeted by a question that sensitive? She had seen him in a new light.

Merumo hums, also looking up at the ceiling but more with a reminiscing look. "They said that you were just going to a school in Asia, I think they said it was in Korea? I don't remember. They also said that you won't be coming back for a long time." she sighs at the memory, remembering it in some type of way. "But I didn't know that you were gonna be gone for a long time. Heck, not even come back."

"Auntie. . ." Jessica Tarantino-Cooper looks down at the little girl with a small smile. "Yes, my dear flower?" the smile was so sweet to look at. It's as if she was a pure woman with no bad intentions or bad morals at all.
