"Orochimaru has infiltrated Konoha and is in the Hokage's office!"
"What?!"
"Protect the Hokage! Go!"
Naruto heard all the commotion and ran as fast as he could to stop Orochimaru. He was also hoping to run into Sasuke. Naruto barged in through the door.
"Orochimaru!" Naruto got ready for a fight. After he rushed in, his fellow peers and Jounin followed shortly.
"Orochimaru! You are cornered. Give me one good reason why I shouldn't rip your head off."
"Well...I may have accidentally caused a virus that is spreading rapidly."
Jiraiya entered the room, seeing Orochimaru, prepared to attack.
"Orochimaru! You will pay for your crimes!"
"What kind of virus?"
"Well, the deadly kind."
Tsunade narrowed her eyes. "How deadly?"
"Deadly enough to make the dead come back to life."
Jiraiya looked at Orochimaru then Tsunade. "Wait, I'm confused."
"As in zombies?" Naruto was shocked.
"Yes. But I prefer the term undead."
"This joke isn't funny, Orochimaru."
"Wait, you made zombies?" Jiraiya was unable to comprehend how Orochimaru was even able to create zombies.
"I was attempting an experiment--," He was cut off.
"Of course." Tsunade said venomously.
He ignored the comment and continued.
"--to create an immortal ninja that could not die. Obviously, it failed."
Naruto was curious. "Do they act like zombies? Turning others by bite?
"Yes. Well...at least some of them do..."
"Yeah right. Arrest him! Get Inoichi, Anko and Ibiki! Get him to talk."
"You fools! What do I gain by lying about this?!
"I don't know. But we're going to find out." Orochimaru was taken away to the T&I department.
Naruto looked at Tsunade. "What if he's telling the truth?"
Sakura answered his question. "Naruto, get real. Zombies? It's obviously a ploy to lower our defences."
"Whatever. I'm going to the prision to see where Sasuke is."
Sakura looked worried when Naruto mentioned Sasuke. "I'll go with you."
[Konoha Prison]
"Orochimaru! Where is Sasuke?!"
"Straight to the point are we? I don't know where the Uchiha is."
"Don't mess with me!"
"After the dead came to life, he left. He took some of my experiments with him."
"You mean people you kidnapped!"
"Bah! That's not relevant. What is important is the undead! They will escape the base and spread if they haven't already!"
An multitude of screams were heard by Naruto, Sakura and Orochimaru.
"What was that? What did you do?!"
Orochimaru paled even more than he already was. (If that's even possible.)
"They're here..."
"Who's here?"
"Haven't you been listening, you foolish girl?! The undead! They're here!"
Tsunade burst through the door, glaring at her prisoner. "Damn you, Orochimaru! I'd kill you myself but we need you and all the help we can get." She unlocked the jail cell, allowing Orochimaru to be free.
"We have to stop them. Let's go."
Naruto was felling a bit hesitant. "Just to be safe, can these zombies of yours use chakra?"
Tsunade and Sakura froze.
"It might be possible..."
"Then we're doomed...we have to move now." He ran to the door but froze when he heard the alarm.
{ALL KONOHA CITIZENS! THIS IS NOT A DRILL. STAY IN YOUR HOMES AND LOCK YOUR DOORS. WE HAVE BEEN INVADED BY ZOMBIES! THIS IS NOT A JOKE NOR A PRANK. THIS IS SERIOUS. STAY INSIDE UNTIL THE ALL CLEAR HAS BEEN GIVEN. THAT IS AAAAHHHHHH--}
"No way..." Sakura felt to her knees in disbelief.
A zombie launched itself towards Sakura. Tsunade jumped in front of her and punched its brains out.
"They're fast too?!"
"Some of them are...due to my various amount of testing, some of them attack differently."
"That's messed up."
Sakura threw up when she saw the dead body.
"This can't be real..."
"We have to go now! There could be kids in the Academy!"
"Please be safe Sasuke!" Sakura prayed.
[Sasuke's Team]
Sasuke stood on a cliff gazing at the smoking remains of Orochimaru's laboratory.
"Tch."
"You okay Sasuke-kun?" Karin asked.
Suigetsu and Jugo looked to Sasuke to give some sort of indication.
He closed his eyes. "...Let's go."
[Konoha Academy]
Zombies were trying to break in though the door Iruka bared shut.
Konohamaru stood up. "Don't worry! Boss is coming to save us!"
Hanabi glared at him. "You fool! Don't you get it?! We're all going to die! No one is coming to save us!"
After her little rant, a few students lost hope.
Naruto lightly tapped on the window, to not alert the other zombies. Iruka went to the window and opened it. He saw Sakura, Tsunade and...Orochimaru?!
Naruto saw the look in Iruka's face. "No time to explain. We need to get the kids out of here immediately."
"See I told you!" Konohamaru bragged.
"G-Got it! Everyone quickly go out the window Naruto and the others will lead you to safety." Iruka told the kids.
Moegi asked, "Iruka-sensei what about you?"
"Don't worry about me." The desk Iruka used to bar the door was being pushed back by the onslaught of undead. He ran to the door and used his body to prevent them from entering.
"Go! Save the children. They are the future."
Naruto realized what Iruka planned to do. "Iruka-sensei no!"
"Haha...You always were my favorite student, Naruto. Be safe and do whatever it takes to survive." A zombie stuck it's head through the door opening and bit Iruka in the shoulder. The smell of fresh blood sent the undead into a bigger frenzy. Iruka was at his limit.
"GO! LIVE AND SURVIVE!"
Iruka couldn't hold back anymore and the door fell of its hinges. The zombies swarmed Iruka and ripped the flesh from his bones. Many of the Academy students pissed their pants, threw up and fainted.
"Shadow Clone Jutsu!" With tears streaming down his face, Naruto created clones to carry some of the kids. In his own arms he had Konohamaru and Hanabi in his right and Udon and Moegi in his left.
