Lancelot and Anubis are a male Gallade and a male Lucario, who were released after their trainer retired from pokemon training. They were raised together since they were a Ralts and Riolu, and think of each other as brothers. Originally from the Sinnoh region, the pair decided to stick together after their release.
They were wandering in the forests of Melemele Island when they came across Valkyrie and Valhalla. What was once a close friendship turned to a love and battle rivalry over Valkyrie.
Lancelot is a determined, sweet, loyal, and a rather romantic pokemon, whereas Anubis is just as determined, but also wise, smart, and totally new to having passionate emotions for another being. However, they can both be very hotheaded and obnoxious at times, especially when they are clashing with each other about Valkyrie.
