Thwack , Thump, sidestep, Parry. The  raven haired boy wove around his opponent as the ferocious spar continued. It has been a routine since the past week for Harry and Cam to spar early in the morning.

Harry had always made sure to tell the latter to try his hardest anytime they spar but he had a sneaking suspicion that the Homunculus was  nowhere near the pinnacle of his abilities.

What with the relatively cool and casual way he kicks Harry ass.

Already without reaching his peak, Cam could knock Harry out within mere fifteen minutes into their duel whether magical or mundane.

Today however,  for reason best known to the Homunculus, he didn't last ten. After reviving his master, Cam gave Harry a sarcastic bow and Harry threw a chair at him.

Despite the sarcastic, insufferable pain in the arse his Homunculus had proved himself to be just in the past week. Harry was still glad that he succeeded in creating a true Homunculus. Harry smiled inwardly as he admired his own creation, the true Homunculus that could easily pass as the best fighter both in mundane martial arts and magical traditional duels.

Cam also has extensive knowledge of magic on its own, much to Harry's delight. Harry was both fascinated and intrigued by the vast knowledge of all facets of magic that the Homunculus had, that shouldn't have been possible as he only intended Cam to be a mundane duelist with the knowledge of all contact combats method known to humankind but for some reason Cam not only had the mundane knowledge but also the magical ones.

Harry suspected that it was because of either the use of the magical force or the grace or maybe both. He couldn't say for sure however seeing as he had no way to test any of his theories.

Harry stood up from and started to make his way up to his bedroom. The Dao in which he had been sparring with Cam was a segregated room beside his Alchemy Lab drilled fifty feet beneath his bedroom. Harry had started building it since the first day of the holiday, he had always steadily added to its construction whenever he could day by day despite his preoccupation with Riddle's diary and the creation of a true Homunculus.

The 'apartment' in the basement -as Harry liked to call it- was completed precisely three days after the creation of Cam. Since then, Harry had spent the early morning hours sparring with Cam in the Dao which had been transformed as Harry placed different martial arts charts around the painted walls, covered the floor with a thick red rug, and placed a series of weapons on show, all of which were made by Harry via Alchemy

Harry felt his heart warm up anytime he thought of how improved he had now become in doing transmutations.

The creation of Cam involved so many alchemical, runic, arithmantical and arithmetical equations.

The complexity of it was such that it had been obligatory first for him to further his knowledge on the subjects required namely, Alchemy, Ancient runes and Arithmancy. For both Ancient runes and Arithmancy, Harry had to go to Flourish and Botts to get numerous textbooks on them and he had to read them all and fast. Harry had to read a little bit faster than the normal pace he usually used while reading, but thanks to his eidetic memory he was able to remember every single detail lettered into the book with perfect clarity.

Alchemy however was a different ball game, while his former teacher, Nicholas Flamel did tell him that he had taught him all he knew and could in Alchemy, he also told him that he would not yet be qualified to be called a Master Alchemist unless he could do all or most transmutations perfectly without the need of a transmutation circle. In this respect, Harry had been training himself, not only to earn the honour of being a master alchemist but to also prepare himself in order to effectively utilize his transmutations in the creation of a true Homunculus.
