Chapter Eleven

Lucy's POV

I was carefully watching over my sister when there was a knock on my door. It must be Lissana.

"Come in!" I said.

The door opened and...yup! Lissana came in.

"Hi," She said nervously. "Ano... your guild mates are really nice."

I nodded in agreement.

"Lissana, no need to be nervous around me. I don't bite (unlike SOME people)." I said.

I was glad to see that she was relieved. She didn't very comfortable around me.

"I'm happy to see you again, Lucy." She said.

"Same. You wanna know a secret?" I asked. She looked confused and nodded.

"My real name is Lucinda." I said. I didn't want to get into the details. I decided that I'll forgive Fairy Tail eventually but

I decided that I'll never forgive Natsu Dragneel.

"What? How?" She asked.

"Let's not get into the details." I said.

She sighed.

"Okay Lucy. Oh by the way, do you still remember the book you wrote 5 years ago?" She asked.

"Yeah why?" I answered.

"Well, Levy's been safe-keeping it and reading it. She loves it so much, but you didn't finish it. Levy wishes so much to be able to read the ending, but you weren't there to finish it." She said.

I started to feel a little sad, but I shook the feeling away.

"So what are you trying to say?" I asked.

"I'm asking, no, pleading you to finish the book so Levy can be a little happier." She said sadly.

"Is Levy upset or something? Did Gajeel hurt her?! Where is he?! I'll go right now and beat-" I said but got interrupted.

"NO! It's not Gajeel. Actually, Gajeel's the only one she talks to for the past five years." Lissana said a bit happier. "They got really close, but Levy's still grieving. You were her best friend."

My eyes got wide.

"She even ignored Team Shadow Gear?!" I whispered hoarsely.

Lisanna nodded sadly.

"She ignored everyone, even me." She said.

"Then how'd you know she was upset about me leaving?" I asked.

"I also live in Fairy Hills you know. I just so happened to have the dorm next to hers. One night, I may or may not have 'accidentally ' peeked into her window..."

Lisanna's Flashback

Lisanna's POV

I looked through Levy's window. She was crying. Not normally nor hysterically. She clutched something in her hands but I couldn't see what it was. I squinted my eyes to see better and managed to make out the words 'Lucy Heartfilia'.
I couldn't help myself. I started crying. Levy looked my way. At first she looked like she had a heart-attack, then she calmed down a bit. I, on the other hand, was still bawling.

"Oh hey Lisanna, wanna come in?" She said hoarsely.

I nodded. I went in and she went to the kitchen to prepare tea.

"So, why were you crying?" She asked.

"I miss Lucy!!!" I cried.

She gasped.

"Oh." She said so quietly that I could barely hear.

"Why were you crying?" I asked, sipping my tea.

"Same reason." She mumbled.

I nodded.

"This was the novel she wrote." Levy said pointing at the book she was clutching in her hands. "It's my only thing of hers and my most prized possession. I only wished it was finished though."

End of Flashback

Lucy's POV

I suddenly felt extremely guilty.

"I thought that it might make her a little bit happier if I gave her the other half of your book." She said.

"I'll give you the rest of the book. Actually, here it is. I've been working on it for the last few years when I was bored. It'll be finished with just a few more chapters." I said eagerly.

I went to my suit case and rummaged through it until I found a pile of papers.

Time Skip 2 hours...

"There, finished!" I exclaimed.

"Thank you! Thank you so much, Lucy!" Lissana exclaimed. I handed her the papers.

"Do you have an excuse for where you got it?" I asked.

"Uh...no." Lissana said, embarassed.

"It's okay, I have one." I said.

Lisanna looked surprised. "Really?! What is it?" She asked.

"Say that you found it in the Clover Library and when you asked the librarian who wrote it, she said that it was a girl named Lucy Heartfilia and that when you asked her where Lucy was, the librarian said that I died 2 years ago. Wait, no, don't say the dying part, it will just make Levy even more upset." I said slowly, making sure that she was with me.

"Okay. It's a good reason." Lissana said.

"Thanks. It's pretty late, let's go to sleep." I said. Lissana nodded and I fell asleep almost as soon as I laid down.

Lissana's POV

I looked at Lucy. She must have been really tired 'cause she fell asleep as soon as she laid down. I, on the other hand, had trouble sleeping. I sighed. I really wish she would go back to Fairy Tail. I'm sure everyone will accept her. In fact, I'm sure she's even fit for a S-class. I slowly got up and looked around her room. I only then noticed a little girl about Wendy's age sleeping on the other bed. I wonder who she is.
