Just A Dream

Chapter 12; "Dad???"

Harry's P.O.V.

We were downstairs just getting finished with Truth or Dare. I laughed at Niall who was sitting at the table gobbling up the take out that he ordered. 

"So guys, what do you want to do now?" Li asked. I shrugged. This felt more than perfect to me. Playing games with my best friends, just having fun. I smiled a little to myself. I thought I heard a door open and close but I ignored it because nobody else seemed to hear it. Niall suggested Monopoly and Vlad went and got it. Louis and Becca got in a fight over who would be the puppy. Eventually they decided to just be on a team together. Me and Alex were on a team, Louis and Niall, and then Zayn and Liam. Vlad was on his own. We played for about an hour and a half. We finally finished and decided to watch the Telly. We turned it onto Disney Chanel because a Toy Story marathon was on and Liam just HAD  to watch it. I smiled a bit. Alex came and sat next to me with Vlad on the other side of her. I looked over just to see that they both shivered at the exact same time.

"Is anyone else cold?" Alex asked. I shook my head no.

"I am." Vlad said. Lex got up and walked to the closet in the kitchen. She got a blanket and came back.

"Here." she said smiled to Vlad. They covered up an Alex snuggled up close to me. By the end of the first movie Liam was crying, Louis, Vlad and Niall were asleep, and me, Rebecca, and Alex just sat there blankly. Zayn just sat there on his phone. We started the second movie then. I felt Alexia tense up and then relax while her eyes started to flutter shut. I shook her a bit.

"Stay awa-"

THUMP. THUMP. THUMP.

"What was that?!" Alexia said. She was terrified.

"I don't know babe. There must be something upstairs.. I'm gonna go check. I love you." I said and kissed her forehead. She grabbed my arm. 

"Please be careful baby. Please." she pleaded. I smiled sympathetically at her and mouthed 'I will.' I kissed her once more on the forehead.

"I'll come with you." Zayn and Liam said. I nodded. We walked up stairs very slow and as quiet as possible. There wasn't anything in Vlad's bedroom, the hall, or the bathroom so we went to Alexia's room. I walked over to her dresser. Nothing seemed to be out of place or anything. I turned to leave but something caught my eye. Something was being carved into her dresser. I looked closely at it.

"Guys come look!" I whisper-yelled. They ran over to me and I pointed at the carving. I watched as their eyes grew wide and their mouths formed an 'O'. You'd never believe what it said. 

"I know who my killer is." was carved into Alexia's dresser. Something else started to be carved into it. "-Jane" that's when my mouth dropped. Slowly, the carving faded away an there was nothing but a little scratch where it was. 

"Jane... Who..? Who is your killer...?" I asked hesitantly. I heard a wind and then Alex's curtains moved a bit.

"You'll find out." I heard. I looked at the other boys terrified. They had wide eyes and their expressions changed from curious to terrified within seconds. Liam and Zayn ran out of the room and down the stairs.

"When?" I asked to no one or where in particular. I was hoping for an exact answer but all I got was a "soon" from the wind. I shivered and ran downstairs. The boys were already telling them what happened. By this time, everyone was awake and aware of what happened. Everyone was scared. 

"Let's go eat." I whispered to them all after we explained everything. They nodded and went out to the cars. Louis, Becca, Alex, and I were in one car. Liam, Zayn, Niall, and Vlad in another. We drove to Nando's and all went inside. It only took us a few minutes to get a table so we went and sat down. We all ordered and ate in silence. Everything was silent. We got up to leave but someone bumped into Alexia.
