it caught my attention
how the cracks on the concrete
are getting wider and wider,
cracks that my soles walked on by
tracing the same path everynight
the hopeless sounding "hello" i mustered the courage to say,
watching you walk from school everyday.
streets didn't change , people haven't changed,
every single memory yet remains the same
like how i used to ride my rusty bike
into the empty road
how i shut my feelings and put them on hold
like how i acted like a friend on demand, when the hand
i wanted, i needed you to hold was my hand.
i cant seem to keep track of time anymore,
sinking deeper and deeper on my bedroom floor.
