We drove the rest of the way to camp in silence.
We arrived at the camp and Christopher parked the car.
I got out of the car and grabbed my bags.
Destiny and I walked to the banner that said 'Singing Camp'.
Christopher hugged me before turning on his heel and going to the Art Camp.
Destiny looked at me.
"C'mon, Darcy, Loosen up! We're finally here! We're finally old enough to be at this camp! Enjoy it!"
I saw a group of boys walk past and one winked at me.
"I guess," I ignored the boy.
We alked up to an instructor.
"Hello, girls! Are you here for the singing program?"
"Yes we are," I smile.
"Okay, may I have your last names please?"
"Mine is Carters." Destiny said.
"Destiny?"
"Yes, that's me," She smiles.
"Okay, go on to your left, your room is the soprano room."
"are we placed by our voices?"
"No, hun, that'll be a bit later in the camp. Right now, we just assigned you to a random room with eight other girls. There may be bunks with boys, but if there's any--Y'know what? They'll tell you everything, just go on."
Destiny hugged me and walked away.
"Last name please?"
I sighed and told her.
"Styles-Tomlinson."
"You're joking, right?"
I looked up at her.
"No . . ."
"Oh . . . Well, I'm a fan of your parent's band," She smiles.
"Darcy, here you are," She smiles. "You're in Alto," She closes her book.
"The alto room is to the right and you take a left. It should be a big green door, you go through that. You will have an instructor in training, which means she's about your age. Don't be fooled though. She can keep you in line," She smiled.
"Okay, thanks."
I followed the lady's directions and showed up to the green door.
I took a deep breath and opened the doors.
I saw three other girls folding clothes and putting them in drawers.
"Hello! My name is Jade, I'm the leader for the altos!"
"Hello, I'm--"
"Darcy, I know," She smiles. "You're the last one to get here."
"But there's only three other girls . . ."
"Yeah, since I'm a new leader, and since I'm so young, I can have only four people in my care at once."
I nodded in understanding.
"Okay, girls! Listen up! This is Darcy!"
I waved hi.
"I want you all to say hello!" She says.
"Hi, Darcy . . ."
"Oh come on! Get excited! You're at singing camp!"
"HI DARCY!" Everyone screamed.
