#7 "Mudblood"

The students of Hogwarts School were buzzing with excitement. Hermione didn't notice she was walking next to Draco, that's until she heard Pansy. "Oh hey Granger! I didn't know they let mudbloods be head girl! Hey whats with you and Weasly The Blood Traitor? Looks like-" "shut it Parkinson!" Draco said moving closer to hermione "Dont listen to her. She's just jealous." Draco! Get here now! You can't be mixing with Mudbloods!" She argued back. "Dont call her that!" He snapped. "Draco it's ok.." Hermione whispered. Pansy stormed off towards her gang of Slytherin girls and Draco was left with Hermione. "Are you ok?" He asked "..y..yeah im fine..." she answered trying to hide her tears. "Hermione are you crying. Dont listen to her she's nothing but a regular Slytherin girl who just wants someone to make fun of. Trust me, no one is going to hurt you while im around." He tucked Hermione's hair behind her ear. "Why did you stand up for me? I mean...your a Malfoy...your supposed to hate me..." she questioned. "Well I'm also head boy so ive got to keep everyone safe and happy, especially you because your head girl." He answered kindly. He held his hand out for Hermione to hold it, and she did, until they got to the great hall. "See you later Mione." Draco said. "Bye Dray." She said back, going to her table to sit with Harry and Ginny. No one noticed that Dumbledore was there with all the attention on Lupin, until He stood up from the Staff Table, and everyone stared in pure astonishment. "I would like to Welcome a few people such as Remus Lupin And Nymphadora Tonks. Lupin will be your new Defence against the dark arts professor this year. And he has some news to tell you." Lupin stood up, "Yes Dumbledore is right, sinse my death something happened to me and my dream has come true...i am no longer a werewolf!" Everyone cheered and applauded happily. Lupin sat back down and everyone fell silent again. "I would also like to welcome back a few people such as Lavender Brown, Colin Creevy, and Fred Weasly." At the sound of Fred's name the whole room errupted with excitment. And of course Fred and George Weasly just had to have their dramatic entrance....
