In the Great Hall, Hermione was sitting next to her friends at the Gryffindor table, next to Harry, Ron and Ginny. Suddenly a voice behind them made her jump. "Hermione....?" Draco said "I hope i didnt scare you..." Hermione smiled back, "No of course not!" She assured him happily. "Uh...Can i sit with you? The slytherins are all avoiding me and giving me death stares...." Hermione looked at the others and back at Draco, "Of course you can, sit here." She shuffled over to clear the gap between her and Harry. Draco sat down- hesitating as he joined the gryffindor. "Uhh... Hi Potter." He stuttered. "Please, call me Harry. If your a friend of Mione's your a friend of mine." He held his hand out for Draco to shake it, And he did, smiling. Draco occasionally looked over to see a bunch of slytherins staring at him. He abruptly looked back to his new friends immediately forgetting. "Okay thats it!" Ron suddenly shouted, standing up with his half eaten chicken wing. " This is bloody torture! Stop with your little act Ferret! You will never be one of us you will always be the lonely little Death Eater!" Draco almost jumped out of his seat at the sound of those words. "YOU DARE WEASLY!" he shouted back "BOTH OF YOU STOP!!" Hermione shouted. Harry and Ginny ran to Ron to demand whats wrong with him and Hermione stayed with Draco trying to calm him down "Draco breathe. Its ok. Go back to the dorm. Get to sleep. I'll be there later." Draco ran out trying to hide his crying.
