When everyone was conscious I showed them the note and we all decided to make better defenses for the whole town.
I cleared all the houses of zombies while the others built a wall around the town. In the last house I killed all the zombies and then I found another note that said: We have you outnumbered when the time comes you will surrender or die.
When I came out of the house the others were almost done but Jackson wasn't working on the wall.
"Hey where is Jackson?" I asked
"He said he was working on his own project." Emily said.
"Ok, I'll look for him." I said as I walked away.
I found Jackson working on my truck. He was welding some welding blades onto the rims of my tires and the truck already had barbed wire on it.
"Good job Jackson." I said.
"Thanks Paul." He said.
I went to the house I wanted as my own and looked around. It was a three room, two bath, and had a fenced in back yard.
The next day we finished the wall around the block and everyone picked a house. Rose got a normal house, Emily got a two story house, Jackson got a house with a basement, Kori got the police station, and Jacob got a restaurant.
As I went to my backyard I heard a explosion so I turned around and saw a building collapse.
"What the fuck?!" I yelled.
Then I saw a helicopter in the wreckage with a figure in the pilot seat. I jumped my fence and ran to the wreckage whith a pistol in one hand and a knife in the other.
When I got there I climed up the wreckage and got the pilot out. Then I climed back down and took the pilot to the police station.
"Kori, need your help out here!" I yelled.
Kori came out the door and looked at the pilot.
"What the... where the fuck did they come from?" Kori asked.
"Over there." I said as I nodded my head towards the downed heli.
"Ok give them to me and I'll take care of them." Kori said.
I handed the pilot to Kori and walked back to the wreckage to see if I could scavenge anything. I found a pistol and a couple of mags but nothing else. Then I looked in the heli and found some more mags and noticed a trail of gas leading away from the helicopter that was on fire.
I got out of the wreckage and ran. When the helicopter exploded it knocked me forward and then everything went black.
