"Girls! Who wants to go the mall to pick up school supplies?" Yelled mom from the kitchen downstairs.

My mother was the type of person who could not stand doing anything last second.

Growing up we always had our fridge stocked, our schedules planned early on for school activities and summer activities, our vacations planned out by the hour months ahead and a system for everything.

I can't recall a day where I opened a cabinet or refrigerator and told my mom we had ran out of something with her already having a new piece of it to replace the finished product.

My mom was petite but a force to be reckoned with. She had big hazel eyes that had speckles of green in them. Her long brunette locks where effortlessly wavy and always looked amazing.

My dad could not be more different. He was tall and built broad. He had screaming icy blue eyes and a mop of dirty blond hair.

He was definitely a more of "go with the flow" type of guy.

They used to always tell us when they were younger that when they first moved in together, constant yelling and bickering went on over the smallest things. However, at the end of the day they'd always come back, apologize and workout out a compromise.

They knew that they loved each other for their differences.

My dad waltzed into the kitchen at that moment.
"Hon, I'll drive you all since I need to go pickup a few supplies for the shop."

"That sounds perfect, my love. Now I just need to figure out which of the girls will be coming with us."

"We'll come with you mom" said Hera, her and Maia coming in from the living room.

"Rhea and Athena! I need to know now if you will be coming! We can't wait much longer because I want to come back to frost a cake!" Mom yelled once more.

Mom was an amazing baker. She went to school and studied nutrition but her real passion was creating magnificent pieces in the kitchen. She was always testing out different things and making up recipes.

After baking the best cupcakes for Hera's fundraiser event last year, a lot of the parents started asking if they could order cakes from her. So mom slowly started taking orders and turning her passion into a booming business from our home kitchen.

This meant our house always smelt of sweet frosting, cakes, cookies, brownies and any other amazing dessert.

I heard footsteps going down the stairs and assumed Rhea had gotten out of her room. So I decided to go downstairs as well.

"Yeah, I'll come along and get some notebooks and binders now." Rhea said to mom.

"Alright, how about you Athena?" Mom asked looking up at me as I walked downstairs.

"I was planning on going to the art supply store because I need to get the special canvas that I ordered. You guys go without me. I'll call to see if you're still in the mall afterwards and might join you then." I replied.

"Okay, is your canvas going to fit in your car or do you need the truck?"

"It'll fit in the car mom, don't worry." I said and leaned over giving her a peck on the cheek. Dad picked up the keys to his car as they started walking towards the door.

"Call us once you finish!" Yelled Rhea looking back at me.

If I only knew that would be my last time with all of them. I would have never left them walk out the front door.

I went back upstairs to my room and grabbed my car keys. Stopping to look at myself in the mirror before I headed out.

I had a pair of black workout leggings on and a basic white shirt that was starting to get a bit too small. My breasts decided to grow in some more this summer and I was starting to feel them make my body disproportionate.

I have the same hair as mom but mine's longer. My hazel colored eyes which look dull compared to currently pale skin made me look like a frog the way they popped out funny.

I've never been as gorgeous as the rest of my sisters.

Rhea, my fraternal twin had flawless skin, glistening hazel-green eyes and hair three shades lighter than mine. The only way you could tell we were twins was because we had similar body frames. Both of us standing at 5'3 and petite.

Hera and Maia on the other hand had seemed to get a few more of dad's genetics.

They both towered over us at 5'8 and 5'9. They would always be asked if they did any modeling.

Hera had dad's dirty blonde curly hair mixed with mom's eyes. While Maia has both dad's hair and eyes.

Everyone always asked if they model. People even asked Rhea if she was a model despite her being petite. They were always turning heads when they walked into rooms.

Looking at my current state, I decided to tie my currently unkempt hair up into a ponytail, hoping that would help make me look less like I just woke up.

Giving up on my looks, I slid on my shoes and headed out to get my canvas.
