Plot: Wooyoung and San meet each other and are instantly smitten.
It was a bright, sunny day at KQ University. Perfect for a casual stroll about the large, beautiful campus. Wooyoung, looking out his dorm window, saw how gorgeous it was outside. "Hey, Yeosang! Do you want to go take a walk around campus? It looks really nice outside."
His roommate replied, "Sorry, Wooyoung. I would, except I'm meeting Seonghwa in a few minutes for our first date. We're going to a movie, and then to dinner. How romantic is that?" Yeosang sighed with a far-off gaze on his face. At this action of his roommate, Wooyoung tried not to sigh.
Ever since Yeosang had met Seonghwa a few weeks ago, these ramblings and dazed looks had become a frequent occurrence. Wooyoung thought back to how it had all started. He was studying for his upcoming calculus exam when Yeosang had burst into the dorm room, a million emotions running across his face.
Wooyoung had looked up from his notes to say, "What's up, roomie?"
Yeosang blushed and said, "So, I was just walking to engineering class when suddenly, I see this really cute boy walking towards me. He was looking down at his phone, so he didn't see me. I tried to move out of the way, but he ran into me, anyway.
The guy fell down, and knocked me with him. We both started apologizing profusely, and we helped each other up. But then I got a good look at his face, and I almost fainted on the spot.
He had pale blond hair with a slight wave to it. His eyes were deep brown, a mysterious glint shining out of them. And his flawless skin looked incredibly soft. I stood there, just staring, while my brain was running at full speed. I felt something I hadn't felt before, and I didn't know what it was till he spoke.
"Hey, I'm really sorry...?"
"Yeosang," I said. "My name is Yeosang."
"Oh, mine's Seonghwa," he replied. "Nice to meet you, Yeosang."
"Nice to meet you, too, Seonghwa," I said back.
Then he said,"Look, I hope this isn't too forward, but could I get your number?"
"Sure, but only if I can get yours, too," I replied. We exchanged numbers, and then walked off in opposite directions. As I hurried to my class, I realized what I had felt earlier. Love, at first sight.
For the next few weeks, Yeosang and Seonghwa texted and flirted back and forth until the former was asked on a date by the latter, which was where Wooyoung's roommate was heading now. "Bye, Wooyoung! See you later, or maybe tomorrow..." Yeosang trailed off with a wink.
"Yeah, just go already, lovebird!" Wooyoung replied, chuckling to himself. Yeosang waved and exited the dorm room. Wooyoung let out another heavy sigh. "Yeosang's so lucky," he thought. "Why can't I have a boyfriend, too? I just want someone to love, and to be loved in return."
Wooyoung started to feel a few tears slide down his cheek. But then he decided that it was time to stop sulking and go for a walk. Wooyoung strolled around the beautiful campus, taking in all the sights and sounds. Suddenly, someone crashed into him, which knocked Wooyoung over.
"Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry! I guess I wasn't watching where I was going."
"It's fine, I don't think I was, either," Wooyoung replied. The person helped Wooyoung up, who almost fell back down when he saw the boy's face. "Ok, this guy literally has to be the cutest thing ever," he thought, which wasn't actually a lie, though.
The boy had very faded green hair that was almost blonde. His eyes positively sparkled in the late afternoon sunlight. Even though the boy's face was fraught with concern, Wooyoung could see deep, inset dimples that he kinda just wanted to poke. A voice snapped him back to reality.
"Are you ok? I didn't give you a concussion, did I?" the cute boy practically squeaked.
"No, you didn't. And I'm fine. My name's Wooyoung, by the way."
"Ok, that's good. And I'm San."
Suddenly, Wooyoung felt a burst of confidence to do something that he would've never dared to do. "Hey, that's a cute name. This might be weird, but could I get your number?"
San blushed, but replied,"Ok, sure."
As they passed their phones to each other, their fingers lightly brushed, causing Wooyoung's heart to turn cartwheels. Then Wooyoung said,"Um, San, if you want, I was just heading to the cafeteria for some dinner. Would you care to join me?"
"Yes, that sounds great. I'm starving,'' San replied.
As the boys walked off toward the cafeteria, Wooyoung realized that some of Yeosang's luck must have rubbed off on him. He knew the feeling now that his roommate had tried to describe to him. It was truly love at first sight.
