The Bet

I woke up when my alarm went off, and I could barely open my eyes. Another day at school where nobody likes me.

I started getting ready to go down and get breakfast with my parents, they don't know about the bullying at school I always talk to them about the many friends at school I have, because I can't tell them the truth and end up showing them what a disappointing son they ended up having, I am already sure they are disappointed with how I am, and if they end up knowing about how it is at school I am sure the disappointment would get 100 times bigger.

When I went down to the table my parents were already sitting at the table eating, they were talking about the current news on the TV that was standing on the table opposite from the dining table, they looked up at me when I sat down, they smiled but it didn't reach their eyes like it used to do when I was younger, I just sat silent didn't have the energy to talk to them.

After breakfast I went to get my bag and took my shoes on, I said goodbye to my parents that haven't moved from their spot at the table.

I went out of the door and started heading to the school.
