I Woke up, the house was nearly completely silent, the only sound was mom singing in the kitchen, she was always in a better mood when father went on business trips, she would be singing and dancing while she was making some food in the kitchen, she would also be smiling more than when dad was at home.

I went down to the kitchen and saw my mom standing in the kitchen she was humming and when she sensed I was there she turned around and smiled at me.
She placed the food on the table and went over to her seat and sat down.
We sat in silence and ate the breakfast she had made, she kept on humming for herself, I smiled just at the thought that mom could be that happy, it is like the complete opposite from when she would be eating with father.

After breakfast I went up to my room and got ready for school, I grabbed my bag and went to go, mom stopped me before I could get out of the door, she hugged me "goodbye, remember that I will always love you no matter what" she smiled, and closed the door behind me, I started walking to the school.
