Makeover

Magnus is sitting at his vanity dressing table applying eyeliner to his eyes. Alec is leaning over Magnus' shoulder watching him in the mirror. Magnus looks at him through the mirror 'like what you see' Magnus chuckles. 'Of course I do but I don't know why you think you need make up, your beautiful the way you are' Alec says lovingly. Magnus then smiles and kisses Alec on the check 'thank you, but it's not about beauty.' Magnus stands up and continues talking, 'a tiger has stripes, I have eyeliner' Magnus says. Magnus then gets a idea and starts smirking at Alec. 'what' Alec chuckles. 'I would really like to see what eyeliner looks like on you' Magnus smile getting bigger when he sees Alec's eyes get wider. 'No, don't even think about it' Alec shakes his head and rolls his eyes. 'Oh come on, it will only be a little bit' Magnus says still smirking at Alec. 'Stop smiling at me like that or I won't believe you' Alec pouted. 'How about we play a game' Magnus winks at Alec. 'What type of game' Alec asks,  curious to know what his boyfriend means. 'Let's make it a little fun ok, so each time I apply a bit of make up on your face I'll give you a kiss' Magnus says walking closer towards Alec.

~In Alec's head~

Alec is thinking about what he is going to say next.  'I guess he knows what he's doing and I will do anything to kiss Magnus, so what can go wrong' Alec thinks to himself. 'Well what do you think' Magnus breaks his thought bubble. Alec stops day dreaming and sighs in regret 'Fine' Alec finally answers rolling his eyes. Magnus yelled in excitement 'YESSSS'. That made Alec laugh because if Magnus is happy then he is happy.

Magnus then walks over to the dressing table and takes the chair and puts it where Alec isn't able to see himself. 'Why are we not sitting here' Alec points to the table. 'Because it's quite dark in here and I need the light to see you better' Magnus smiles at him like a goofball. Alec gives Magnus an unsure look to signal that he don't know whether to believe Magnus because of his unpredictable ways. 'Come on, sit down' Magnus commands,  getting impatient, jumping up and down like a four year old. Alec walks over to the chair and sits down and looks up at Magnus. Magnus then starts to get the equipment he needs to do his boyfriends make up. Once he has got everything prepared and is ready to start, he looks down at Alec who still looks unsure but knows Magnus won't make him look bad, or will he? Magnus plants and kiss on Alec's upturned face for reassurance. After a couple of seconds Magnus pulled away leaving Alec breathless and causing him to sigh when he felt Magnus lips leave his lips. Magnus then turned to his makeup which was laid out on a table to the side of him and picked up his eye shadow 'close your eyes' Magnus said softly. Alec obeyed his command and closed his eyes.

When Magnus was applying the eyeshadow he used gentle hand movements to distract Alec from thinking he is putting too much on. After Magnus is done with the eyeshadow he places a kiss on Alec's lips, making his legs weak.

After a few more kisses and applying the rest of the make up, Magnus steps back and says 'finished'. He looks down at Alec and smiles. When Alec stands up he walks  over to the dressing table. Meanwhile Magnus backs his way out of the bedroom, laughing quietly and goes to make himself a sturdy cocktail.

In the bedroom Alec is trying to build up the courage to look in the mirror. 'On the count of three. One, two, three' Alec says as he turns to the mirror and looks at his face. After a couple of minutes  of staring at his reflection in shock, he shouts 'MAGNUS!! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE'. A quiet voice from the other room replies 'I can't hear you' and Magnus laughs out loud. 'THATS IT' Alec shouts and runs out of the bedroom and into the living room, where Magnus is sitting drinking a cocktail with a massive grin on his face. 'You think this is funny do ya' Alec said seriously, trying not to crack a smile. 'What, don't you like your glittery green eyes and red cheeks' Magnus asked acting all innocent like he had done nothing wrong. Alec starts to see the funny side of it and lets Magnus of the hook. 'YOUR SO DEAD BANE' Alec walks playfully towards Magnus and the look on Magnus' face is one of surprise. With a click of his fingers, he and his cocktail disappear.

Alec could hear laughter coming from the balcony, he walks to the balcony to find no Magnus. Then he hears the laughter coming from the kitchen. He walks in to find Magnus washing up his cocktail glass. Magnus looks up at the door of the kitchen and smiles when he sees Alec standing there with his arms crossed looking at him. Alec sees the glass on the side and gets an idea 'hmmm....time for payback' Alec said under his breath hoping Magnus wouldn't hear him. Alec walks over and picks up the glass and realises that there is still some water left in it. Alec grabs Magnus' hand and pulls him closer to him. As both of them look into each other's eyes, Alec leans in and kisses Magnus, whilst holding the glass, with water in, behind his back. Swiftly he lifts the glass and tips it over Magnus' head.

Magnus gasps and steps back taking a while to recover from this sudden surprise.  He shook his head but didn't say anything which made Alec panic 'Magnus, a..are you ok? I'm so sorry..... I.....don't know.....what came over.....me' Magnus interrupts Alec's apology 'Swift moves, Shadowhunter', they both burst out laughing. Magnus grabs Alec's hand and drags him to the mirror in the hallway. They both look at each other then look at themselves in the mirror and both start giggling. 'Do you know how long it took for me to do my hair today' Magnus laughed. Alec looks at him  'what a flick of a finger' Alec says  mimicking the movement. Still looking in the mirror Alec then turns to Magnus 'how about you fix this little disaster' pointing to his face. 'Why, I love my work of art' Magnus says kissing him passionately.

After both of them finished cleaning themselves up, they make their way to the living room. Both of them sat down on the sofa. Magnus drapes  his legs over Alec's body and lays his head on his chest and snuggles in to him. Alec wraps his arms around Magnus and pulls him in closer and kisses his forehead. 'Thank you for such a fun day, I don't think I've ever laughed that much in my life until today' Alec said gratefully. 'Thank you for letting me do your make up' Magnus laughs. 'I only did it to make you happy and you do realise that this is the first and last time you will ever do my make up' Alec replies looking at Magnus. Magnus laughs 'I love you' Alec said smiling. 'I love you too Alexander' Magnus said kissing Alec gently on the lips. After they both pulled away and sat there drinking hot chocolate  in front of the fire.
