*Finn's pov*

"Come on mike hurry up" Dustin said from afar. I took one final look at Will's house then turned around and started chasing after the rest of the party members. "You know...nothing will ever be the same. The party is going to be so empt- WOAH" I heard a small scream "AHH" "are you okay?! I almost hit you!" I looked closely, it was a girl... I looked her up and down taking in her outfit, until I saw her wrist. "Wait let me see that!" I said frightened as she slowly held her wrist up.

*your POV*

Well I mean I just almost got ran over by a boy on a bike. He asked to see my wrist so I lifted it up confused. As he examined my wrist I admired his face and his hair. He was cute, really cute. I felt a small pink blush creep up onto my cheeks but I stopped myself. "I'm y/n by the way" "I'm mike... Mike wheeler" he replied. The name really suited him. "Are you new? I don't think I've ever seen you around" a boy with extremely curly hair questioned. I looked at him for a second until he quickly said "OHHH sorry! I'm Dustin, this is Lucas and max" I gave a small wave then said "yeah I am new" Max smiled at me warmly and walked up to me, dropping her bike. She embraced me into a hug, she smelt sweet like honey lemon. I liked the smell so I hugged back. She pulled away from my arms and put her hands below both of my shoulders. "Come on you can chill with us" I saw her look behind at mike then examine his face and look forward again. "Is that your boyfriend?" She let out a loud laugh, louder than expected because she opened her eyes out far and laughed a tiny bit with me. "No he isn't my boyfriend, normally he's quite weird with new people just goining the party, believe me I know. But he doesn't seem bothered that you're here." I couldn't help but smile after she said that. "Wait... do you like him?" Max asked me. "Ha... pff... yeah... right...totally...ha...as if" I said dumbly. "Okay well the fact you literally just answered with like 10 words kinda gives it away you do" max said with a smirk. "He used to be dating my best friend El but her and our other best friend Will just moved literally like an hour ago" "oh I'm sorry" "no don't feel bad it's okay" she said with a sympathetic smile. "So do you want me to set you up with him?" She asked me trying to tempt me into it. "I meannnn..." I said jokingly. She didn't really say anything so I just shook it off. We walked towards Mike's house and went to the basement immediately. I didn't really understand so I just went along with it. Me and max sat down watching the tv when all of a sudden, Mike sits down on the other side of me. Max signals me that he's there and then walks away. She moves a couple of steps back and rolls paper into little balls and chucks them off mike until he notices. He eventually turns around to face max and she signals "talk. To. Her." I could see through the tv and I was trying my hardest not to laugh.

Timeskip: 3 weeks later

"Hey y/n can you help me with something in the kitchen please?" I heard mike shout from the kitchen. "Sure" I shouted back as I got up from the living room sofa. I entered the kitchen to see Mike sitting on top of the counter. He immediately jumped down once he saw me. "I can't keep it in any longer" he said. "You mean whatever you're cooking in the oven which is off by the way..." I said as we both laughed. "No I mean my feelings for you." "You what-" i said shocked "I'm sorry if I scared you I just had to tell you. I think you're adorable. You're so kind and beautiful and you have such a kind heart. Please y/n would you make me the happiest man alive and be my girlfriend?" "Mike i- of course I will" he picked me up and spun me around and I wrapped my legs around his waist and my arms around his neck. He looked me in the eye and I looked into his and he leaned in. I cant believe this is happening right now. His lips were so soft like I was kissing clouds in heaven. He pulled away and we just smiled at each other.

So this was my first Mike Wheeler story. I hope yous like it. It is quite short and I am so sorry for the mileven fans out there (myself included) but El and Mike aren't together anymore. Instead it's you and Mike so it's all good. Again I hope you enjoyed this. Ilys goodnight/ day 💘☀️🌛
