Y/n POV

"Okay quiet while he's still asleep" I said whisper screaming. "Mills I need you to get these foods and drinks" I handed her a list and she nodded and proceeded to put on her shoes and jacket. "Sades and caleb I need you two to get party poppers" "on it" sadie said. "Noah and gaten I need you two to get balloons and confetti." They nodded their heads. "I will sort out decorations and the schedule." I said to myself since everyone else was gone. I text sophia "everyone has left to go and get things for Finn's birthday party. I'll text you when Finn wakes up and think of an excuse for him to leave." "Got it" she replied. I put my phone down and ran through my checklist. I got the best idea and smirked to myself. I got my phone back off the table and text mills. "Hey mills can you get some mistletoe while you're out 😊"
"sure can't wait to see you love birds later 😏😉"
I rolled my eyes jokingly and got back to planning. I had my present for Finn upstairs. I got him a new guitar with "dear Finn, hope you like this I love you. Love from y/n/n (your nickname)" engraved on it. I went upstairs to see if it was still there as I walked past the bathroom and heard the shower on. I immediately got my phone out and text sophia "he's awake but he's in the shower." "Okay text me when to call him" she replied. I heard him singing his band's songs (the aubreys). He got them stuck in my head though, thanks Finn. I was making him waffles with white and milk chocolate and singing forgetting I wasn't home alone. 'Breaking free' from high school musical came on and I started singing Gabriella's part almost going into Troy's part until i felt hands creep around both sides of my waist and the hands meeting again in front of my stomach.  "Morning beautiful" Finn said to me with a kiss on my cheek. I scrunched my nose at him and stuck my tongue out. "I forgot how amazing you are at singing y/n" he said looking me in the eye while I was still waiting for his waffles to cook in the pan. "Oh shush I'm not as good as you" I said complimenting him. "HA yes you are!!" He said. "Oh right then prove it" I said challenging him. He started singing Troy's parts and looked at me waiting for me to join in. We stood there singing all of the high school musical songs until I finally heard the egg timer ding. I opened the waffle maker and decorated the waffle just the way Finn liked it with chocolate and raspberries and strawberries over the top. I slowly put it on the plate checking Finn hadn't seen and he was sitting on his phone at the table. I put the plate down and closed his eyes with my hands and said "1...2...3... and open!" he saw the waffles and smiled with that adorable smile of his. My heart melted and I managed to blurt out "happy birthday handsome" he blushed and I don't know how I didn't faint he was so adorable. I sat down next to him with some cereal and played more high school musical. I realised everyone would be back soon so I text sophia. "Okay call him now he's finished his breakfast and he's already dressed" "im calling him now " just as I read that message Finn got a call. I tried not to smirk and he said "Sorry babe sophia says there's an emergency I'll be back" "that's okay take your time." He smiled and placed a gentle kiss on my cheek. The stranger things came back into the house with hundreds of party decorations. It took a couple of hours to set up but once we finally did I text sophia to get Finn and the rest of the IT cast to get to the house.

Everyone was mingling around when I heard the door knob turn. I gave everyone a look and everyone hid. Finn and sophia walked through the door and Finn turned on the lights. Everyone jumped out and screamed "suprise". A smile grew across Finn's face which made me smile. I got up and ran into his arms and wrapped my legs around his waist and my arms around his neck. He put his hands on my back and burried his face into my neck. "I love you so much" he said to me. "I love u too" I told him. We spent the next hour talking to everyone while Finn opened everyone's presents. "Okay it's time" I said to sophia. "Go on and get it quickly!" I nodded and raced upstairs. I grabbed the guitar case and stroked it. I opened it just to make sure it is still in perfect condition. I carried it downstairs really quietly I dropped it behind the sofa where Finn was sitting and covered his eyes with my hands before giving him a kiss on the cheek. I carefully put the case on his lap and sat next to him. He opened it like a child on Christmas morning. I playfully laughed along and he eventually opened it. "Oh my god y/n. You didn't"
"Oh I so did" he didn't say anything and I got scared but he picked me up in a hug and spun me around while I wrapped my legs around his waist.  He gave me a show stopping kiss and put me down. I heard my phone ding and it was mills.

I looked up at her and smirked as I put it as my lock screen. Finn saw and winked as he said "send me that". It turned out to be a pretty good day. We ended it by watching IT chapter 1 because we are so quirky.

I spent so long on this like 2 weeks I think I had no inspiration but I've been sunbathing for 2 hours bc it's hot for once where I live but I've injured both of my hips and I can't put any pressure on them so that's fun ✌ AIGHT byeeeeee
