The shine in my eyes glimmered ever so slightly, my heart pounded against my rib cage as I began to get excited. "The game I pre-ordered finally arrived!" This is the game that everyone talked about these days. It was popular due to its extensive choices, the characters, and even the option to customize the mc. The best part of it is that once you complete the game without getting the bad end or dying is the ability to type your answers and having the characters react to it.
"Eversiege" is the name of the game. I had my finger crossed, hoping not to be let down. It was hard to avoid spoilers since I was in a reddit community that had people talking about it constantly. I started up the game, crying internally as all of my gbs had been taken up by it.
The starting screen had me staring at it for a long time and the music it played was catchy and it made me smile.
I finished the customization section and started to actually play the game. Contrary to what I expected, the game itself is complicated, and the gameplay was hard, but it's enjoyable.
Eversiege had very charming characters, even the villains had personality! Still, even if a game is good, there's still characters that are unlikeable
For me, it was the character named Seongja, who's mc's best friend. Her design is fine, it was just how she was portrayed through her words. Whenever she talks to the mc, she somehow sounds like she's doing a little gaslighting.
A couple hours after I had started playing the game, I began to feel drained even though it's the middle of the day.
"Wouldn't it be hilarious once I close my eyes, I transmigrate into the game? Just like all those manhwas and novels?" I laughed, wiping a tear away "I'll die of old age before that happens."
