It’s been a month after the meet up I had with my friends in a cafe and we just enrolled yesterday in University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos Senior High Department.
I’m nervous cause we’re gonna be in a different environment. The only thing that I’m concerned is, if I’m gonna make it into the volleyball team. It's not that I don't believe in myself it's just I don't know if I'll get along with other players incase I'll make it. I’m a volleyball player since elementary and it has been a part of me and I feel empty without it, it's like we're connected.
Classes have started a week ago and so far my classmates are okay. Magkaklase kaming tatlo ni Kendal at Reese, I was relieved when they told me that news kasi sabi ng kilala ko sa ibang section ay heterogeneous daw yung sectioning kaya swerte ka kapag kaklase mo yung kaibigan mo.
We are currently in the middle of a discussion sa second subject when we heard a knock at the door and someone entered. A student assistant was holding a bond paper and hand it over to our subject teacher.
After reading it silently she faced us and said “Okay class attention, the Senior High School Sport Association will be having try outs in different sports next week,” that caught my interest.
Kendal also joined the conversation and said “Oo nga, I’m sure pasok ka kaagad dun, MPV ka eh.”
“For those who are interested just write down your name in this bond paper and specify what sport you’ll be joining in,” our subject teacher continued “Sino dito yung class chairman nyo?” she asked us.
Kahit na transferees kami ay we’ve been active in class that’s why Kendal won as Class Chairman and Reese as Vice-Chairman, while I was the P. I. O. Well more than half of the class are transferees actually.
“Miss Araya I’ll leave this to you, just put it in your bulletin board so that everyone can have access to it.” Miss Campos instructed her.
“Okay po.”
The second subject ended an hour later at inaayos ko na ngayon yung bag ko kasi pupunta na kaming cafeteria for lunch. Bawal kasing lumabas yung senior high unless it’s 5 o’clock in the afternoon.
