I'm so late!

That's why I'm running to the our gymnasium for an orientation. Like some idiot, it slip from my mind when our professor announced it yesterday. But thank goodness Beany texted me the details about today's program.

A former students in our school, were invited to talk in front of whole years. Its all about sports, I think and they're here looking for new recruits for those hopefuls aiming for a shot to enter into professional sport careers in the future.

My lungs contracting painfully as I jogged across the field. Oh God! I swear I looked like beach ball running in my usual big pants and polo shirt with sling bags on my side. I put my long hair in high ponytail result from rush grooming this morning.

Students playing baseball littered the field as I kept my speed, carefully avoiding balls that flying around.

Gasping for air, I stood for a second, palming my chest.

"Hey! Fatty! Get out here!"

My head snapped to that voice. I bit my inner cheek as I glared at a boy around my age. Who he think he is!

He's holding a batt, wearing our school's team uniform. His eyes slitting to my direction. I faced him.

I'm not afraid.

"Hey! Are you crazy? If I hit your head with my ball, I'm not responsible, alright?"

"Dud!" Another boy tapped his shoulder.

"Did you hear me? Get out here!" I balled my fist, running away but I can still hear their conversation. As much as I wanted to lash out on him, its never my nature to throw dirt at somebody and so I let them pass. Most of the time. But it didn't mean I'm not ready to fight.

"Do you know that girl?"

"No." I can't help but looked back at them. The arrogant boy now swinging his arms. Oh I know him alright. He's one those bully in our school.

"Be careful Ed. She's Larson,"

She's a Larson... what's that supposed to mean?

Honestly, I'm used to it. People tremble whenever they heard my last name. They were always shock and whatever that means I don't care.

Perhaps they will trample me if not for my father's reputation. That pissed me off.

I entered the gym's gate, showing my ID to the guard then I timidly walked inside. Sweat covered my forehead, I hugged my bags in front. I exhaled as I looked into sea of students and their loud voices echoed around the large room.

Beany.

Instantly I sought her face among hundreds of students while looking for a seat.

"Excuse me," I smile to a redhead when I slightly stepped on her skirt. Ops! Sorry!

She offered me a bright smile.

When I saw a vacant seat fifth row from the front, I sat on it, still looking for Beany. That's when the emcee spoke for a short message and welcome the guests. We gave a round of applause.

Right on cue, four tall male stepped into the stage wearing identical shirt of their club. My eyes blinked when I saw the eagle insignia.

Familiar? Is that...

The first guy spoke while the crowd went wild especially girls. I shook my head.

Tall, very tan. Even from afar, I can saw how handsome he was.
