Chapter One.

Carli's pov

I sat in the back with Naomi as suddenly i grew hungry. My teeth started to grow and i put my hood on.

"Hun, i dont see a reason to always have a hood on" My mom said.

I took a deep breath in and i changed to normal.

"Sorry" i replied looking at Naomi wide eyed.

*Flash Back*

"Lets go take a walk at the park!!" Naomi said as we looked at my mother and father drive out of the driveway.

"Naomi its 11" i added looking at the dark sky with the bright full moon.

"Come on!" She said grabbing my hand.

We ran to the near by park as the cool air hit my cheeks.

"Look at it!! Its so pretty!' She said looking at the walk way with lamp posts.

We started walking and the lights started to flicker.

I started to get scared as each lamp post turned off lamp by lamp...till all were shut off..

"Naomi" i said squeezing her hand.

"Carli....um do you hear that" she said as i heard people laughing. She let go of my hand. "Naomi ? Where are you?' I asked looking around, i cant see one thing.

i felt a hand on my shoulder and i turned.

All i saw was bright yellowish eyes..

"Sorry, hunger is too strong to resist. Your sister is...well she is fine."

His voice made my heart pound. His fingers brought my hair tiao the side, and he slowly came closer until i felt his breathing.

"This might hurt...a little" he said as i felt a sharp pain in my neck. Then everything...went....black.

I sat up from my bed quickly and started to breath heavily. I felt a pain on my neck and i ran my fingers down two bumps. I felt my teeth and cut myself. .no blood came out.

I looked at Naomi as she looked as frightened as i did.

*End of flash back*

That was 4 years ago. Ever since we have been attending a Vampire Academy called Vladimir Vander Academy. Our parents think we attend a town school, but the great thing about the academy is that they make report cards that look like a normal school.

Naomi has lived with my family and i since i was 8, we were best friends ever since i moved to London, and her parents died in a car crash.

They let her move with us because she had no more family.

Her full name is Naomi Sapphire Davis, and she never wants to change her last name.

Naomi and i jump out our window once in a while and speed run to farms and ya know....drink cows blood. Look, we dont want to hurt people! Unless we have too.

Now, i was hungry. "Mom, can Naomi and i be dropped off here?? We can walk" i asked.

"Hun its raining.." she said looking out her window.

"I like rain" Naomi said as we ran out the door.

They drove off and we ran as fast as we could which can get us all the way to New York because we were so hungry.

"Sorry bud" i said as Naomi and i bit in the cow.

"Why cant vampires be addicted to like Broccoli? " she asked wiping her mouth.

"Ew broccoli? You couldnt just pick  Cucumbers " i added.

"Hehe cucumbers " she said as i laughed.

We ran home and she took a shower.

I put on clothes for tomorrow.

I walked up my wall and onto the ceiling oved my bed nd closed my eyes falling asleep.
