"Ok, there's two this time." Farrah notes looking towards the sky, as two strikes of fire flood the night. "That can't be a good sign."
The two beams of light and fire across the sky seem to be bigger every time. For the past few months they've been coming more frequent too.
"Are you ready girls?" Farah asked, looking at us. Well all too each otherss hands, standing in a circle.
Energy flowed through us, radiating around us before shooting off into the sky, spiraling into the fire and dissolving it.
I felt the breath leave my body as we all let go. Doing something like that felt like it was exhausting.
Well, to be fair, we just got rid of a giant burning thing. And it's not like these things are getting any smaller, it's quite the opposite actually. They're getting bigger and bigger every time and we're not sure when they're going to come or hoe big they're going to be.
Malina prepared herself for the second. The same colored energy flowed out of her hands, flooding the sky and taking over the lines fire, extinguishing it.
You could notice all her muscles loosen after that, and he face looked drained. We found that it was as hard for us as it was for her.
At least we can both do the same job.
"I reckon I can take one by myself." Talon stood there, arms crossed in front o fher chest, staring at the brightly coloured sky.
I rolled my eyes at her statement, "Pft, yeah right." I retort, looking at the girl who didn't seem too impressed which I had to say.
Talon looked at me, grabbing out of thin air her weapon of choice, her fire whips before she threw them at me, although this is quite predictable.
With ease I disassociated from the world, feeling the natural energy flow through me, tuning me completely in with nature. This is to the point of where I am not able to create foot prints in the snow.
I moved over to Talons side as I saw her weapon melting the ice around where it sat, before the girls eyes began to glow a vibrant, firey red and orange mix as she extends her hand. The fire began to feed to her hand, like a vacuum before it was all gone.
You could see smelly fire patters creep up around her neck, before she let out a breath and they were gone, with the only ruminants being smoke and cinders catching the breeze from her mouth. Her deep brown eyes looked to where I was as I returned to my normal state. Well, my solid state.
"Guys, let's try to not argue, please." Althea gave both of us a sad look, not really liking when we fight.
We'd been here for months, training up Malina in controlling her powers. She had all of ours. Fire, water, earth and air, all of which she could control, however, not to our extent.
Althea can fly on Occassion, not to mention her super jumps, all just by controlling the air around her. April could control all kinds of liquid and read into peoples DNA through their blood, she basically had the ability to tell anythi8ng about anything as long as she could see it in a liquid.
Then there is Talon. I doubt anyone could create fire the way she could, not even Malina. With all her pent up rage, creating any sort of fire or flame was so easy and basically second nature. She didn't even need to wear a jacket in the temperature (you know, the freezing cold and she still managed to keep her cool leather jacket on)
And well them, there's me, but I'm sure you know about me already.
And I'm even more sure that you've been waiting for this for a long time. I know I have.
After being trapped here in the arctic for so long, I'm dying to get out, and the rumour around the base is that it's going to happen soon than we were all expecting.
I just guess the question is now...What are we waiting for?
...
I hope you all are ready for this!
