The band aid date ch.5

Did he just ask me on a date?

Your thoughts started off sounding quite in your mind but then that didn't last for long as your ideas went wild screaming in your head with the hot that your soulmate loves you back but that small amount of joy was short lasted as your thoughts asked the question " what kind of date? " making you panic and curl up farther into a ball with your nose sticking out. "What do I, well it be fancy or casual, do you bring a gift or not?" Your mind begins to think as you sit there. But as your mind was running wild and you have no words to speak the room around you seem to disappear as you start thinking more and more.

But in the middle of you have a minor panic attack, you somehow forgot about how you still haven't given an answer to this incredibly patient goofball  that is just sitting there smiling at you not yet realizing what he did that help you a little bit. With him still waiting for you to respond to his question and even though he was still processing what just happened. even in his confusion, even he can see you were overthinking too much and it was starting to worry him even though he knows you might still be just be thinking about how to answer.

But he didn't want to risk it he has been waiting to see you for so long he didn't want to lose you so he kept smiling softly a smile so bright and warm that you feel like you would still feel it in a dark room with no way of seeing it ,looking at you with your flustered face as you try and cover it up as your still in a ball you look away not wanting him to see it just yet. He put a hand on your shoulder and said with that cute voice of his that could make anyones day.

"Hey, it's ok we don't have to go today if you want we can just stay inside. We could go another day or we can go to the beach later at night where its quieter"

Trying his best to help you out and make you feel a tad bit better. And to be honest it made you feel so much better knowing that you don't have to go outside and just stay in with him and just in an instant your surroundings came back as you. Just then as you look up at him you see his eyes let up as if he got an idea. You were confused but you still let him do what he was thinking. He reaches into his pockets and pulls out a small box of band-aids you got more confused what is he thinking he got out a band-aid and left the box on the table then grabbed a pen he opened the band-aid and said.

"Is it ok if I put this on you? It's just a small trick I learned when I was sad when I was younger."

He said with a big smile you nodded yes and left your head up more to see what's going on. Then you saw his hands move to your face with the band-aid and you closed your eyes. As your eyes where closed, you felt a soft presser on your nose then put the band-aid on your nose then you felt writing on your nose? At this point, you have no clue what's going on you opened your eyes to see him being very embarrassed but still happy.

"What's the band-aid for?"

You asked looking into the mirror on your desk that you still have yet to move. You see the writing on your nose it says "smart".

"It's a little trick I learned from my dad"

He says getting ready to explain but not looking at you in the eyes. Is he embarrassed? But of what?

opened your eyes you see him offer to hold his hand with much confusion you give him your hand he flips to your forearm kisses a band-aid and puts it on your arm then he writes cute on it you where embarrassed but still confused after a little bit you under stood that it was supposed to feel like tiny hugs with words of encouragement it was nice.
