The hidden bustling streets of Musutafu never failed to amaze the pro hero: Bakugou.Despite his line of work being rowdy and dangerous, this alleyway shares the same dangerous vibes but in a more comforting way. Maybe because of the buildings that sat together close, leaving a small gap in between that hugged Bakugou.
Maybe it's the chilly air that never fails to brush pass him when as sneaks in the alleyways.
Maybe it's the lone neon sign at the end of the dark alleayway that shone dim pink and blue neon lights.
Maybe it is the sign.
Club 39
It did pour a little while back so the ground stayed wet, forming puddles only for Bakugou to step on them as he makes his way toward the bar.
He looked around as saw no one was out but a sign that sat by the door. Cats inside.
Bakugou was never an animal person. His explosive attitude seem to scare away those around him, to animals and to people.
His feet moved, making its way to the bar. He was so desperate for a cold, hot drink that would burn his throat.
Opening the door to the bar brought the sounds of the bell to echo around. The girl behind the counter whipped her head toward the door while she wipes a glass cup with a red cloth.
"Welcome," she said no too loudly.
Bakugou nods as he made his way toward the stools a few seats away from the lady. Once sitted comfortably, he did not speak.
The girl raised a brow. Is he just going to sit here?
After a few seconds of silence, the girl glanced at the clock behind him. "Hey," she started.
Bakugou raised a brow at the girl, "I don't care about the price. Just whip up something good." He was straight forward and that irked the lady in fromt of him.
"I'm about to clock out and my co-worker's not here yet. Would you mind waiting for a few minutes?"
Bakugou could only sigh. He contemplated if he should just leave and go to a convenience store to buy a can but his legs said otherwise.
After a few minutes of head-down and a quick shut eye, he felt a tap on his shoulder.
He opened his eyes and saw a glass filled with red in front of him. Bakugou then lifted his head up and saw a new barmaid in front of him.
Shit. He didn't know if it was only because he was sleepy and groggy, but this lady was extremely attractive.
"Hina told me you requested something good," she started as she grabbed an orange peel on the bucket beside her. "The drink's called Negroni. Have a taste." She then inserted the peel on the wall of the glass, for decoration and some hint of juice it dripped.
Bakugou's gaze didn't waver. His eyes glued to the lady in front of him. She noticed the large amount of attention from him and she chuckled, "I'm (Name), not Negroni. Drink it," she offered with her hand, "it's my specialty."
Bakugou flushed light pink and scoffed. Without any words, he grabbed the cup and downed the drink rather forcefully.
(Name)'s eyes widened, "you're not supposed to—well, what can I do? You finished it."
Bakugou moaned as he felt the drink hit the back of his throat satisfyingly. He felt the burn itch his throat and the coldness alone in his gums. "The drink's good." He commented as he lifted the drink up before placing it down gently.
(Name) sighed, "It would've been a lot tastier of you drank it slowly. You know," she said and drank from an invisible cup to portray her point. "Savor the flavor."
Silence engulf the two of them and (Name) thought maybe she shouldn't have interfered with his way of drinking. But I was only giving him a suggestion!
(Name) didn't deny it, he was more handsome and hot in person. Bakugou didn't have to introduce himself since he was quite known around Japan.
Being Japan's number 2 hero does have its pros and cons.
In the middle of the silence, they're eyes met. (Name) gave him a hearty smile.
Bakugou smirked his eyes not leaving hers. "then give me another one."
