Engagement Day
Andy Barber's House

All the barber's family has come. For now, they just waiting for the arrival of the prospective wife and her family.  Since earlier, Andy couldn't stop looking at his watch, as if he wanted all this to pass quickly.  When he turned toward the door, that's when he saw the arrival of the girl and her mother.  She wears a cream-colored vintage knee-length dress, with matching heels, and a pearl necklace. Beautiful, he thought.

"Oh, there she is!" said one of Andy's sister.

"Oh, dear, you look amazing! Pretty sure my brother can't take his eyes off you!"

She blushed at her comments.

"Welcome to the Barber's family darling" Andy's grandmother said with big smile on her face.

"Thank you so much...?"

"Oh, just call me Jane, dear"

"Alright, thanks Jane, for welcoming me to this family"

And when her gaze meet Andy's, she was like a high school girl who was intoxicated with love, her cheeks reddened and smiled sheepishly. But, Andy replied with a cold look. Such a poor girl.

"Alright, because the girl we are waiting for has arrived, it's time to framing the engagement ring. So, ladies and gentlemen, Andy Barber."

"Alright, tonight is the night we've been waiting for, the first time in a long time, after various difficult problems have passed, I can attach a engagement ring to my future wife. I am very grateful for all your support, 'cause if not, there is no way I can do this"

The ring is attached to the (Y/N)'s ring finger but the method of pairing is so rough, that make (Y/N) yelp a little. Even so, (Y/N) still hoping to get a sweet kiss from Andy on her lips afterwards. But what happened next was hard to believe, Andy only gave a short kiss on the (Y/N)'s cheek. Realizing what he was doing, Andy said, "we should keep one for the wedding day, right?" he said, cold gaze looking deep trough (Y/N)'s eyes, that made her whole body shiver. She nodded.

"What are we waiting for guys? It's champagne time!"

While everyone was partying around, Andy excuses himself and go to the backyard. He slicked his hair back and sighed. But he didn't realize that (Y/N) was following him.

"Andy" she called him with her soft, but scared voice.

"Andy, a-are you okay?" she asked, trying to get his attention.

He sighed and then turn around, so he's facing (Y/N).

"What make you agree to this arrangement?"

"I uh..."

He walked towards (Y/N), his face just inches from her.

Her heart beating so fast. Even he's pissed, he still look hot. 

"I um... I j-just want to make you h-happy"

He scoffed at her.

"Really? That's it?"

She nodded.

"Listen to me young lady, YOU. WILL. NEVER. MAKE. ME. HAPPY. NEVER. So, don't you try anything stupid to impress me, cause I'll never be impressed by you."

Then, he leave her alone.

"(Y/N) wh- oh, there you are! I've been looking for you like 10 minutes!"

"I'm sorry Mr. Barber, I just have a little chit-chat with Andy."

"Oh, get to know each other, huh?"

She smiled sofly at him. Lies, it's all lies.

"So, where's Andy?"

"Um, I think he just join the whole family."

"If he joined them, you have too! Come on, you're part of this family from now on!" Mr. Barber said as he gave (Y/N) a hand.

She nodded and they walk to the family room.

I'll always try to make you love me, Andy Barber, even if you don't like it.
