Satan was a little grumpy today. He didn't tell you what it was but by the way he was glaring at lucifer at dinner, you figured it had something to do with him.

You tried getting his mind off it by talking to him, and encouraging to eat some food. Your attempts worked for a minute at best. You could see his fists tensing. His eyes looked engulfed in hatred. You were worried. You have seen the other demons show their true form when they're extremely angry, but never Satan.

If Satan transformed, would he snap and lose control?

You kept making feeble attempts to take his mind off things, talking about new books you found at a local library and how many books you owned back home.

The whole time you were talking Satan just stared at his plate. You were worried.

"How is everyone's meal?" Lucifer asked.

Suddenly, the mood darkened as if Lucifer's voice suddenly triggered Satan. You could feel the negative energy radiate off of him. Satan stood up, and with a groan as he transformed into his true form, his tail whipping around.

Beel, who was sitting next to you, picked you up and moved you behind him and the other brothers. Lucifer slowly stood up. Wiping his face with a napkin before dropping it on the table. He looked at Satan with a cold look.

"Do you really want to do this now Satan?" Lucifer asked monotone.

"I think you know I have to." Satan replied in a voice so angry you barely recognised it.

What could've happened to get Satan this mad?

"You. Stole. Every. One. Of. My. Books!"

Oh...

"How could you! You know how much they meant to me."

Flashback to that afternoon after RAD.

Satan came home earlier than you or his other brothers and decided to sit down and read a book. However, when he got to his room, he saw his furniture that was usually covered with books...bare. He went to Lucifers office to get some help. However, Lucifer told him it was his doing. Satan stormed out without listening to anything else. But he finally blew up.

End of flashback

You stepped in front of Beel, and he tried to pull you back by the wrist but you quickly moved away.

"Y/N! It's dangerous right now." Mammon called out to you.

"Satan...I'm sure there is a reasonable explanation, of you just calm down for a sec—"

"Calm down! Oh please, I'm sick of your talking. It's grown annoying." Your heart broke, and when you started crying he turned back around to Lucifer, his wild tail sending you flying into the dining table.

Everyone became deeply concerned, Beel and Levi ran to you, while Mammon and Asmo transformed into their true forms, angered at the sight.

"Y/N...Wake up!" Beel pleaded.

Lucifer showed concern look for you before turning to Satan. "Now you've done it...You only see anger in this form! Now, listen to reason, you stormed out before I could explain. I didn't do anything to them but move them. This house had a hidden library that I discovered. I thought you would like to go there to read, instead of barely being able to sleep with a book under you. I didn't tell you because even though we have been living here for centuries, I only just found it and wanted to surprise you. In fact, Y/N was the one who found it."

Satan's looked changed to a shocked one. He turned back into his normal demon form. He remembered what he did and tears started swelling in his eyes.

He turned to you, "Y/N..."

The other brothers stood in between you and him, Asmo and Mammon still in their true forms, spread their wings out like a wall.

"Give me one reason I shouldn't kill you..."

"Mammon...calm down we have resolved this now." Lucifer said, though he was very concerned about you.

"Oh no I don't think so, I'm making Satan scream tonight." Asmo said with a not so playful smirk. Your two best demon friends were extremely mad right now.

"I know, but I wasn't thinking...I didn't mean any of it..." He started sobbing and dropped to his knees.

"Y/N?!"

"Hey you brat come back here!"

Suddenly Satan found to arm engulfing him in a tight hug. He opened his eyes to find you to be the one hugging him. He quickly hugged you back.

Asmo and Mammon transformed back into their usual appearance at the sight of the two of you.

"I-I'm so sorry...I...I never meant to hurt you...or say those ignorant things. I love you talking on and on about things you like-"

You lightly pecked him on the lips, he was surprised but enjoyed the kiss.

"But I—"

"I love you dummy, and although you hurt me, I know the real you would never do such a thing."

"Ew, you normies are gross~"

"That I did not need to see!" Mammon yelped.

You only laughed. You suddenly groaned at the pain you felt all over your body, and you put your head on Satan's shoulder for support.

"Y/N!" Everyone called in unison.

"I'm fine but is there like a pain killer or something I could have?"

Lucifer went to fetch it for you while Satan carried you to your room. He placed you on the bed and was about to leave when you held his wrist. He looked back to you.

"What is it?" He asked tucking a strand of hair behind your ear. You leaned into his touch.

"I want you to stay..." You said in a tired voice. Satan went to grab a chair when you held his hand again.

"I wanna cuddle you dummy..." Satan blushed but agreed. Your head on his chest and his arms wrapped around you, you forgot about the pain and slowly drifted off to sleep.

Lucifer lectured Satan as quietly as he could as not to wake you, Asmo and Mammon joined in on the conversation as well.

You stirred in your sleep making Satan blush, and hold you closer. The brothers teased him for his red face, while he was holding you in his arms.

"Guys don't bully him too much~" You said sleepily.

"Oop, did we wake you? Sorry Y/N, we'll leave now." Asmo said and pushed the other brothers out of the room.

You moved even closer to Satan, if that was even possible as you two were enjoying a tight hug, and he kissed you on the head.

"I'm so sorry for tonight, but rest now so you can feel better in the morning." Satan said. You hummed in response and drifted back off to sleep.
