"Y/N~ I'm hungry~" Beel whined.

"Sweetie, you're always hungry."

He pouted at your words, puffing his cheeks out. You poked his cheek, as he was in closer proximity than normal, given his head was on the table.

"Awww, you're so cute."

He shook his head, "Nah-uh, just hungry."

"Hmmmm, well...why don't we do something special for lunch?"

"Special?"

"Yeah, let's go on a picnic!" You said excited at the idea.

"What's a picnic, can you eat it?"

You couldn't believe it. The demon who is hell-bent of trying every type of food, anywhere, anytime, has never been on a picnic.

"Oh my god, Beel, honey, we gotta do this now. No turning back!" You said.

"Beel do you have a basket and blanket around here somewhere?"

"Yeah...I'll go grab it."

"Thank you." You smiled at him. Wait, was this just going to be the two of you? Alone...

You were very open and honest about your feelings towards Beel everyone knew, except Beel. He was so oblivious once you asked him out and he still didn't get it. You loved him, but he could be a little dense.

"Okay...today's the day...I will confess, not just ask him out..."

"Huh?"

"Ahhhh!" You looked around to see Beel back with the basket.

"Beel, you don't sneak up on weak humans like me...oh my poor heart." You said grabbing your heart, trying to calm down after having the fright of your life.

"Oh no, sorry y/n..." Beel apologised.

He looked upset so you just said, "It's okay Beel, I wasn't being serious, I'm sorry." You hugged him, and he hugged you back. As he was at least a head taller than you, when you hugged lifted you off the ground a little.

You giggled. "Beel, can we prepare the food now? Otherwise it will be dinner before we get this done."

"Okay." He looked way too eager, you were worried the food wouldn't make it to the basket.

Numerous times you had to slap away Beel's hands, dodge him when he tried to grab something off a plate, and feed him other food you wouldn't need to keep him away. You knew you could have just sent him away, but you enjoyed his company.

"Okay, we are all done." You clapped, and looked at Beel's happy face, making you smile even more. "Aww, you were great Beel."

"Yay!" You loved this soft boi.

Beel took the picnic basket, and you two walked down a small trail in the woods behind the house of lamentation.

When you got to a grassy meadow, you lay down the blanket, and placed the basket in the middle. You sat down taking the food out of the basket, Beel sat down next to you. You started eating a sandwich, since you were hungry after cooking for so long.

"Is it any good?" You asked.

"You bet it is!" Beel replied with a massive grin on his face.

You two ate, laughed, talked and enjoyed each other's company. After you two ate everything you packed, or rather after Beel ate everything you packed, the two of you lied down and looked at the sky.

"Hey Beel would it be crazy if I told you I loved you? And not just in a friend way..."

This was it you were putting it all in the line and-

"No, I love you more than a friend, we're practically family." He said as he sat up with a big puppy dog grin on his face.

So dense.

"No I mean. I love you and I wanna marry you and have your kids." You said while turning a very deep shade of red.

Beel's cheeks turned slightly pink at your words.

"I-I uh, wow...seriously? Me?" You were surprised, although Beel never gloated about himself, he also didn't seem the type to be insecure.

"Yes you dummy, have you not seen my hints. I literally asked you out at one point."

"Huh?! I thought that was a prank! I thought those things were just me thinking too deeply about things."

You two sat in silence for a few seconds before Beel blurted out, "I...love you too..."

"Beel you don't have to say anything back to make me feel better, I'm fine as long as we can still be friends."

He hugged you tight, "I mean it Y/N."

You both hugged, until it started to get dark. You both walked back to the house, and sat down on a couch. You ended up falling asleep in Beel's arms somehow, but he didn't mind. He thought you looked absolutely stunning.

Hello! This was a request and so sorry I took a short break. I had school and other things come up and hopefully I'll post a bit more often.
