Euphoric - Nate Jacobs

Chapter 3

I'm going to try to do the Rue Narrating.

Nate Jacobs was born from Cal and Marsha Jacobs when Aaron his older brother was only  5 years old. When Nate was 1 when Angelica was born. When Angel moved to East Highland, Nate gained his first love/friendship. Nate didn't know what love was at the time but as years progressed he figured out what the emotion he was feeling towards Angel was. Nate would go out of his way to help Angel in keeping her safe. Angel had an invisible rope on her pinky that connected to Nate Jacobs.

When Nate Jacobs was 11 years old he found his dad's porn collection, his dad was obsessive. His mom always said that's where he got it from. Nate quickly realized the color case placement was no accident it was an elaborate code, one to ensure no one fucked with his shit. Every video was basically the same. They drink, they small talk, and then his dad would fuck the shit out of some fucking whore or slut. Nate made it his lifelong goal to keep this secret away from Angel to not taint her with the darkness of the word. Angel was pure. She never cursed, didn't know what sex really was, or anything dirty of that sort.

By 12 Nate adopted a rigid diet and workout schedule, within a year his body fat dropped from 23% to 6 %. As time grew by Nate was even more in love with Angel, He knew one day this pure girl was gonna be his. Nate and Angel lived 4 miles away from each other. When they started middle school Angel lived by the school only 2 miles away. Angel loved to walk to and from school every day, Nate Jacobs lived 2 miles away from the school in the other direction of  Angel's house but, he always went out of his way and walked the green-eyed girl back home to make sure she was ok from perverts and strangers trying to take his precious Angel away, Then Nate would walk back home, every day it took him 4 miles to get back home.

Nate joined the football team as a freshman, quickly excelled. Angel joined the cheerleading team. By the year's end, Nate was not only Star- Quarterback but became team captain. Angel not long after became cheer captain. Both joining closer together. Nate just loved the crowd, the pats on the back, the cheers, especially from Angelica. He just loved the feeling of winning. Aaron his older brother was a fuck up, He could tell his dad didn't like Aaron, didn't think he had guts and brains, or half a fucking clue, and Nate agreed. Nate didn't talk to his dad much, Nate was too invested in football, grades, and Angelica to talk to him but, he didn't need to they had a good relationship.

Nate didn't like his mother either he saw her as weak and a pushover, Plus she didn't take care of herself. The only woman he ever looked up to was Angel how she kept her self strong and never pushed people or really cried about her mom who was a deadbeat drug addict that left her for the oh so precious drugs instead of sticking around. She wanted people to know that she didn't want to feel pity from people around her just because of her mother, and Nate saw her as a strong woman after that. Nate made a long checklist of the things he liked and disliked about women.

He liked tennis skirts, and jean cutoffs but, not the kind so short you can see the pockets. He likes ballet flats and heels. He hated sneakers and dress shoes but was fine with sandals as long as they were worn with a fresh pedicure, he liked thigh gaps, hated cankles, liked tan lines, long necks, slender shoulders. He liked good posture and good body mist. He liked full lips, and small noses. He liked chokers but, the lacey ones with flower cut-outs or delicate patterns. He hated girls that sat like boys or talked like boys or acted like boys. There was nothing on planet earth that he hated more than body hair. Those are just a few things that drew him into Angelica more as they grew up. The only thing she didn't have was a thigh gap but, he made that exception for her and only her.

But, someone else drew him in Maddy, She was basically hairless like Angelica. While Angel was pure Maddy was far from it.

Nate would walk Maddy home every day after meeting her. He never forgot about Angel he wanted to distance himself so his overpowering emotions didn't take over and him to ruin his chance in being with her in the future so he got on the Maddy train. Nate still talked to Angel all the time but, he spent less and less time with her for Maddy, Unless Maddy and Nate were on a break.

Nate liked that Maddy was a "virgin", That no guy had stuck his penis in her. Nate didn't believe Maddy. She didn't bleed when they first had sex. She told him that not all women bleed but he was rough the first time so it was impossible for her not to bleed. The one thing Nate did know was Angel was a virgin, no one ever touched her, she didn't even touch herself she was too pure and that's what he wanted... to be Angelica's first time. Sometimes Nate would imagine marrying Maddy and having kids with her but he knew he didn't want boys though but he also didn't like the idea of having girls, plus Maddy could be a real bitch.

So he got rid of that thought and started imagining Angel in that place and that made him calm down and really think. If Angelica and Nate got married and had kids, he would be over the moon and wouldn't care if it was a boy or a girl he'd just be grateful their mom was a literal angel there blessing them along the way. Nate wasn't religious or anything but he really thought Angel was a literal angel there to protect him. But, the night of McKay's party something inside Nate snapped with Maddy, He knew he had anger issues but, so did every guy. His anger was solved with Angel. When Nate got mad you had to lock Nate in a room and find Angel to go into the room and calm him it was the only way.

It's not like there was anything in his life that he could trace his anger issues back to, it was just who he was, and who he'd always be. He knew with Angel by his side he'd be ok.
