"What about her?" James asked as he eyed a blonde girl entering the club, wearing a tight dress and high stilettos. The brunette opposite of him shook his head slightly before taking a sip of his drink.
The two were sitting in a fancy bar in the center of the city London, both wearing tuxedoes and both looking for something completely different.
"I know it's hard for you to understand but I'm gay. G-A-Y. I like guys, McVey."
He said and James shrugged slightly in defense. "I was just wondering."
Brad took a sip of his whiskey and let the liquid run down his throat and linger on his tounge for a bit.
"You know what? If you don't want her, I'll ask her out." James suddenly said and placed his drink down, getting out of the booth. "Yeah, yeah whatever you say." Brad said with a small chuckle as he watched his best friend walking away from him.
The brunette male continued to look around the crowded room when he suddenly heard a voice next to himself.
"Hey." He turned his head towards the source of the voice and saw a good looking dark haired male standing there. He was only slightly taller than Brad and had deep green eyes. "Hi." The brunette boy said in response and took a sip of his drink, his eyes never leaving the deep forest green of the others. "Mind if I join you?" Brad shook his head in response and soon was joined in the booth by the dark haired male.
"What's your name cutie?" He asked and the brunette looked down at the table. "Brad." He answered and earned a small nod. "I'm Eric."
"Nice to meet you Eric." Brad said and the taller male smiled. "Nice to meet you too Brad." Eric's gaze wandered up and down the younger males body and Brad titled his head to the side. "Enjoying the view?" He asked and Eric just nodded. Bradley was already getting very bored of the male but he tried to hide it as best as he could. The two held some small talk for a while wich bored Brad to no end but when he was about to excuse himself to leave, he heard something that made him perk up. "Can I be straight forward with you Brad?" He of course nodded response and Eric bit his lip. "I came here because I think you're really attractive and I want to ask you out on a date." He said and Brad lifted his eyebrows. "Oh." Was his response but Eric didn't back down. He placed a hand on the brunette's thigh and Brad looked down at the hand on his body.
"Let me treat you well."
He was about to answer when a voice cut the two off. "Man that was a huge bummer, she's actually a lesbian and met up with her-" James cut himself off as soon as he saw the two and their position. "Oh shit. I'm just going to-" But Brad wouldn't let his only chance of savior just leave like that. "James! Oh damn so we already have to go home? That's awful but maybe we can come back another day right?" Brad said and latched onto James' arm who furrowed his eyebrows but hesitantly played along. "Uh yeah that's a good idea. I'm tired anyway." He said and the two quickly left the club. Brad took in a deep breath of fresh air before turning to his friend who had his eyebrows furrowed at him. "What was that?" He asked and the brunette just shrugged. "He wasn't what I was looking for." James shook his head slightly. "Are you forever going to keep the playboy attitude up? Don't you want to settle down sometimes?" He asked and Brad let out a chuckle. "At the moment, I'm just looking for something to excite me and a relationship definitely isn't that."
James just let out a laugh. "And how long are you going to search for this 'kick' or whatever?" He asked and Brad smirked. "I have the feeling that I will soon find what I'm looking for."
