Rengoku x Reader (fem!reader)

Cleaning up

Rengoku had carried you all the way back home and set you down on his bed in his room, he looked around for some bandages and a cloth to wipe the blood off your cheek with.

"I-I'm Sorry Rengoku-kun" you croaked and tears stung the brim of your eyes

"It's alright my love" he said calmly and walked back over to the bed

"I forgot my wisteria and I acted foolishly" you looked down at your lap as he gently wiped your cheek and cleaned it

"It's ok y/n-chan, luckily I was there to save you, you're safe now" he then lifted your broken and tender ankle with as much delicacy as possible.

He got two wooden sticks and placed them on both sides of your ankle.

You yelped out a quiet cry, indicating that it hurt.

He slowly and carefully wrapped a bandage around it and tied it off securely.

Before you could thank him he picked you up gently and placed you on your back in the bed.

"I'm going to change, once I'm done we can go to sleep" he whispered softly and picked some clothes from his wardrobe.

You felt a wave of guilt flood over you as you laid in bed, if you had just stayed you would have been safe from demons.

After Rengoku had changed he got in bed beside you and spooned you, nuzzling his face into your neck and planting a sweet kiss onto your neck.

The next day you had woken up to Rengoku still cuddling you, he was out cold and his red and golden locks scattered across the pillow his head was on.

You turned slowly to face him, he looked very peaceful and handsome when sleeping.

"Rengoku-kun" you whispered and planted a small kiss on his soft lips.

"Mhmm.." he muttered and struggled to open his eyes, he wanted to stay like this all day.

"Good morning" you buried your face into his chest and breathed deeply, taking in his sweet scent.

He ran one of his hands through your hair and twisted some strands around his index finger.

"when can we tie the knot and get married?" you whispered

"Whenever you desire it..." he said quietly and softly.

"Can we get married while you are here?" You whispered

"Of course" he kissed your head and a small smile formed on his lips.

"I just don't know when you'll be gone again and I really missed you" you drew circles with your index finger on his abdomen.

"Yeah.." he nodded gently "We can get married tomorrow or anytime you please"

"Tomorrow sounds good" you smiled a little

"Good Morning!" Senjuro burst into the room with his booming voice.

You almost screamed but stopped yourself you sat up and wrapped a blanket around you because you were only in a Kimono, nothing was under it.

"Sorry!" Senjuros face turned bright red and he covered his eyes

Rengoku let out a bark of laughter and smiled "It's alright, you didn't know" he stood up and went behind the room divider you had gone behind.

You were looking for some clothes in the dresser and suddenly you felt lips on your neck and then down to your shoulder.

Your face got redder every second and every kiss that was placed on your gentle skin.
