The lights suddenly came on, Elena looked around confused, something was different. N came stomping into view shouting, "WAKE UP PESTS," looking around making sure they were all awake she continued, "Today is the day you die. Let's get started, shall we?"

She walked over to the levers, reaching for the one that would determine who would be picked, her hand was around the handle when Misty laughed, "They're almost here. They're coming for us."

N looked at her, "No one is coming for you, I am going to kill all of you today."

Misty shook her head, "No, you're not. Your heart is racing like never before, the palms of your hands are sweaty, you're starting this earlier than usual, and the only reason for any of that would be if they were close."

N snarled grabbed the lever and pulled. Elena spun around and around when she stopped the arrow was pointed at mountain peaks with a vine wrapped around them, Ivy's turn. Grabbing the second lever N pulled, it landed on what looked like a sharp stick and the ax.

Grinning N pushed the stick tile, and out fell a small pointed stick, it's end razor sharp. Elena's blood ran cold, no. Looking at Ivy, Elena for the first time felt real fear. Shaking her head Elena scoffed, "Do you think a piece of wood can kill one of us? You must be stupider than I originally thought."

N looked at Elena, "It might not, but once I shove this into little miss earth's eye, she'll squeal nice and loud."

Jerking against her restraints Elena shook her head, "Why not do my eye? Fire didn't kill me, but earth might. After all, I'm a big mystery."

N shook her head, "No, I think I'm sticking with what the wheel said to do."
Elena watched terrified as N unlocked the door releasing Ivy from the container, the floor flooding with ice-cold water. Ivy coughed, stumbling to her feet, N grabbed her by the back of her head, raised the stick aiming for her marked eye. Elena jerked against her restraints again, fear coursing through her, again and again, Elena jerked shouting, "LEAVE HER ALONE. DO YOU HEAR ME, YOU LEAVE HER ALONE."

Whimpering Ivy tried to break free, but the buzzing sound of the collar filled the air. Crying Ivy looked at Elena, "Tell Bubba I love him and to look after you for me."

"IVY DON'T GIVE UP. DON'T YOU DARE GIVE UP." Amber shouted from her icy prison.

Ivy shook her head. Elena felt a strange warmth spread through her, no. The stick plunged deep into Ivy's marked eye, her scream echoing throughout the room, tears falling down her face Elena jerked again, the warmth inside her growing. Suddenly everything changed.

Elena fell hard to the ground, her whole body glowing, a tingling sensation rushing through her limbs. N turned, staring at her, Ivy lay sobbing weakly at her feet. Power coursed through her veins. Standing Elena looked down at her hands, deep inside she knew. She finally knew, her gift had awakened.

Looking at N, Elena grinned, "Now, I'm going to kill you, but first."

Elena waved her hand, N went flying, crashing against the far wall. With a flick of her wrist, Elena undid everything that held all of her friends hostage. Shaking slightly Amber stood, her eyes wide, she gasped, "Elena, you have the All-symbol mark, but how?"

Elena shook her head, "Not now," N started to stir, Elena looked at her friends standing around her, "We don't have much time. Here's what I want you each to do."

Elena quickly gave them each orders, Calypso and Misty were to try to heal Ivy, Crystal was to protect Wendy, and Amber would make sure they all made it to the surface. Taking a breath Elena focused on the ceiling above them, the mark at the base of her neck glowing.
