Chapter 3

Alex and Gabe walked through the house and into the bathroom." Alex, baby I'm gonna need you to take off the top of your tux so I can look at your wound." Gabe calmly said." O-Okay." Alex said shakily. Alex slowly began to remove his tux, when Gabe noticed a symbol at the base of his neck. It was the symbol of the Angels." Alex, when did you get this symbol?" Gabe asked curiously." I-I don't know." Alex said. Gabe decided that it didn't matter at the moment so he just shrugged it off. After the top of Alex's tux was off Gabe began to heal the wound although it didn't seem like it needed to be healed as it looked more like a deep cut than a stab wound. But Gabe did it anyway. They weren't going to go away completely. Demonic blades always left scars if they didn't kill you. Once the wounds had scarred over, Gabe took a wet cloth and began to clean the blood off of Alex's mouth." Gabe, tell me what happened." Alex said quietly." What do you mean?" Gabe asked." All I remember is when we stopped dancing and ran away, after that everything goes black until I woke up here." Alex explained. Gabe then explained what happened after they ran away from the dance." S-So you're telling t-that I-I died?" Alex asked. Gabe nodded solemnly with tears threatening to escape his eyes." But you're back now and that's all that matters." Gabe said. Alex sat there not moving for about two minutes, which began to worry Gabe." Alex, are youok-." Gabe was interrupted by Alex pressing his lips into Gabe's. Almost immediately Gabe melted into the kiss and began to kiss back. It was about to intensify but Alex broke away and began to hold his head." Alex what's wrong?" Gabe asked in complete worry." My head fucking hurts!" Alex yelled. All of the sudden the whole house began to shake and Alex was engulfed in gold and blue light. Gabe's sword was also engulfed in rosé and gold flames. After about 2 minutes,the light dissipated and revealed what had happened. The sword had only changed slightly, only the heart had put itself back together. The biggest change was in Alex, nothing but his eyes changed physically, it was his spirit that had changed dramatically." Alex you're, you're" " What, I'm a what?" Alex asked frightened." You're an Angel." Gabe said in shock." Aww thanks Gabe, but seriously what happened?" Alex asked." No no, Alex I'm being completely serious!" Gabe said louder. Alex saw the look of utter shock on Gabe's face and saw that he was completely serious."You're actually serious?" Alex asked." YES! I've said it like six times!" Gabe said." HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE?!?" Alex shouted obviously utterly confused." MAybe it happened because Ignacio gave his life to bring you back." Gabe said quietly. They both sat there for awhile pondering how this could've happened. Then all of the sudden a white flash of light consumed both the boys and took them to a giant completely white room filled with Angels in blue and gold armor. Above all the Angels were four thrones. In the first three there were Gabe's uncles. Michael, Raphael, and Gabriel(The uncle he was named after). Then above all of them sat the most powerful being in all of the multiverse, Gabe's grandfather. God. Michael saw them and flew up to Gabe's grandfather to let him know that they had arrived. God looked down towards Gabe and Alex and gave them a warm smile."There he is, my favorite grandson has come to visit me!" God said." It's good to see you too gramps butuh, we didn't come here on our own accord." Gabe said politely." You didn't? Oh that's right I almost forgot that I brought y'all here." Gabe's grandfather said with a smile." So why did you bring us here?" Gabe asked. " We'll get to that later but first let's catch up, how's your dad?" God asked." He's still a pretentious prick." " Well what would anyone else expect!" God said. At that moment both Gabe and his grandfather burst out laughing and that was what Gabe loved  about his grandfather, he was able to make him laugh and that was a hard thing to do, even for Alex. After they had stopped laughing, Gabe's grandfather seemed to put on a 'serious face'." Alright Gabe, it's time to let y'all know why you're both here." God said." I brought you both here because I need to let you know that I need Alex to stay here." He said with a stern tone." WHAT? NO! LIKE HELL I"M GONNA LEAVE HIM HERE, I JUST GOT HIM BACK!" Gabe objected." BITE YOUR TONGUE NEPHEW!" Michael retorted." SHUT YOUR FUCKING MOUTH UNCLE MICHAEL!" Gabe fired back." DO NOT TALK TO ME THAT WAY!" Michael spat." I'LL TALK TO YOU HOWEVER THE FUCK I WANT!" Gabe shouted." SILENCE!" God yelled causing a thunder clap. Both Gabe and his uncle Michael were dead silent even though they obviously had more to scream at each other." You don't want Alex to stay here, fine I'll make a deal with you." God said in frustration." Alright lets hear it gramps." Gabe said still fuming." You and Michael are going to fight, if you win, Alex stays with you. But if Michael wins,Alex stays here and I strip you of your wings." God said. It took Gabe a second to process what his grandfather just said." Alright, deal." Gabe said." Then go choose your armor and be back here in an hour." God said with a sigh. Then out of nowhere a door appeared with Gabe's name on it. Gabe and Alex both walked through the door and found out that they were in Gabe's room, that should've been in Hell but it made Gabe happy to see all his old stuff." I really missed my room." Gabe whispered." Gabe why would you take such a horrible deal?" Alex asked on the verge of tears." Alex, baby it's okay. I'm going to win no matter what." Gabe said as he wrapped his arms around Alex." But Gabe, i-if you lose, you lose your wings. I mean I don't mind staying here but I couldn't live with myself if you lost your wings because of me." Alex said quietly." Alex I wouldn't lose my wings because of you, I'd lose my wings because I love you." Gabe said." Will you be ok?" Alex asked frightened." I'll be fine babe, just try not to worry about it okay?" Gabe asked." O-Okay." Alex said. After about 25 minutes Gabe was fully decked out in black armor with bits of gold embedded in it."Alright, both of the fighters are ready. You may now BEGIN!" God said.
