Page 16: For You

Whenever you paint me your satisfying remarks,
My face would summon one smile filled with tranquility.
Tell me, what did I do to receive this reward?
I made no reflection for I am dazzled with your lines.

Lines that obtains no deceitful tricks to submit.
Babe, I neither possess infidelity for reasoning.
Young hearts may be a funny chapter to fall in love,
But yearning never requires age in history.

In history books, we'd probably be unwritten.
Eventually, our names would vanish and forgotten,
But I would call your name over and over again.
If possible, until I entered my senescence years.

Days to follow, I wish to see you by my side.
Yet, I held no binoculars to see the future.
Only I imagine myself wearing white gown
And you in tuxedo as groom whom I fell in love.

Overthinking of losing you nags my infinite claim,
But never fret I'm loving you, I always do.
Believe me when I say, I don't want to let you go.
Embracing your existence was my favorite call.

I wish to dance with you in the middle of the street
Like Noah and Allie and their never-ending story.
I'd fill the gap between us and wrap my hands around you,
Whispering those three words reserved only for you.

I wish to laugh with you, picturing us in the balcony.
Coffees in our hands, mellow music in the background.
Exchanging stories, I would offer you random poetry,
And we'll recall those moments every second of the day.

But if one day forged by and we parted our ways,
Remember my name who loves you dearly.
Even if I am no longer next to you,
I wish you happiness and I'll never forget you.
