Junior sighed, picking up a fairly soft rucksack for his step-sister to lay her head on. She was growing weaker by the second, and he was aware she might not make it.

'We'll be off here soon Junior.' Kelly tried to comfort him.

Junior looked up to her and he sighed, unsure. Something worried him. The way the tall woman had looked. She seemed scared.

Junior took the bag he found and he placed it under Taylor's head.

She didn't say anything as he did this, but this wasn't a surprise. The two didn't talk too often, and when they did it was mostly arguing.

Junior sat down turned away from her facing the beach. His head slunk down into his arms. He breathed in and out, trying to calm himself and not think about his sister.

He heard someone else breathing and he glanced over his shoulder and he screamed. Junior came face to face with a rotting corpse which seemed to be stumbling over to him.

'Help!' He yelled.

Dwayne looked at his son being attacked and he dashed over to him. He picked up a piece of wooden debris and he smashed it against the person going up to him. 'Junior grab Taylor, I don't know what is going on, but you two need to head out.'

Junior nodded and he sprinted over to Taylor, gently pulling her up.

'What's going on?' She asked.

'I don't know!' Junior replied, taking her arm. Kelly took the other one as the three of them pushed forward.

The three looked back.

'Dwayne!' Kelly yelled.

Dwayne glanced up and he turned to face them, he started running over when one of the corpses clutched his leg, pulling him onto the floor. Kelly let go of her daughter and she rushed over to her husband to pick him up when she was watching him as well. A small clump of corpses piled on top of them.

'Run!' Dwayne screamed.

Junior pulled Taylor and the two of them hobbled away. Not daring to look back at their parents being torn to shreds.
