My mum and I went shopping for onesies. Oh and I forgot... Dad and Colton were with us too. They laughed at all the weird outfits and disappeared into some of the gag shops and looked at games. But Mum and I were on a mission, to find me the best onesie. We dropped into Primark and saw all the onesie choices. "Mum! I found the best onesie!" Colton shouted a ways away. he brought it to Mum and she giggled. It was a Captain America onesie. "But you don't live in America?" I questioned. "Yeah but it's still sweet. Don't kill it Shorty, just let it happen." He ruffled my hair and walked away.
Dad found a panda onesie, so him and Cotlon checked out and waited outside the store."Okay Hailey, you're gonna have to settle for something. Not everything is perfect." Mum said. We had been in the store for 20 minutes trying to find me a onesie. Mum had picked out a clown fish one so she would look like Nemo. I sighed, ready to give up. but then I saw it. The best onesie of all time. It was hanging on the last rack. I gasped and ran towards it. I squealed when I grabbed it. "Aw! Hailey that's so adorable!" Mum said. It was a zebra onesie, mane, tail and everything. It was perfect! "Oh goodness, I love it so much!" I said excitedly. We went to the check out and met my brother and dad when we left.
"Okay here's the plan," Mum said. "We're going home to change and do what ever for the video and recording. Then afterwards, Colton and Rosie are going on a date and Hailey is having a sleepover at YogTowers with Cadi, Kam and Delia(Sjin's daughter). So both of you need to pack whatever you need for that. Got it?" Mum finished. We all let out a mumble of understanding.
We came back home and I headed upstairs to the bathroom to do my hair. I heated up my straight iron, but Colton barged in and pushed all my stuff out of the way. "Colton!" I yelled trying to push him back. "Can you do my hair?" He asked nervously. This confused me. Colton is always so chill and mellow. What's gotten in to him? "Colt, it's only a video. Not a freakin speech for the queen." I said starting to straighten my hair out. "No, Hailey, it's for my date. I want to look perfect for Rosie." He said hopelessly. I let out an 'awe' and of course he rolled his eyes. "Okay, first we have to do something with your hair. But not to fancy because you're just going to a movie." I said. I had him sit on the toilet lid while I fixed his messy quiff. I gelled it up a little but not so much that you could tell it was gelled. After I was done with his hair I looked at his clothes that he would wear. I pulled out a maroon T-shirt and green T-shirt. "Which one goes better with your hair, plus we have to match pants and shoes with it." "Ummm, the maroon one." Colton replied. I looked at his dark hair, then at the shirt, "good choice." I said throwing him the shirt. I went to his jeans. I picked out the slimmer ones but not quite skinny jeans. "I'm afraid I might rip them, I haven't worn them in a while. " Colton said. "They have a reinforced crotch. You'll be fine." I said. He tried the pants on, "they actually fit quite nicely." "I told you." I said going to his shoes. I found his maroon Vans and handed them to him. He put it all on and I had him turn. "Hmmm, needs something else." I said looking around his room. I saw his grey SuperDry jacket and told him to put it on. "You are ready for that date. You look awesome." I said. "Awe, Colton you look cute. Now both of you go get into your onesies we are leaving in 5 minutes." Mum said in the doorway already in her onesie. We both looked at each other with a straight face because we had to take down all the work we just did.
We both got into our onesies and linked arms as we walked out the door._________
