Part 4

*5 months later*
Hailey is officially back to work after she took some time off and her and jay are still not together. They aren't working a case today so they are just catching up on paperwork.

Haileys point of view

It was just a casual day, Jay and I just got everyone lunch. I walk to the coffee room and pour my coffee. Suddenly my phone rings and catches me off guard. When I answer it I hear on the other end of the line my old boss from when I went undercover. "They found Garrett." He said. I'm stop dead in my tracks and accidentally drop my coffee. The cup shatters and everyone is staring at me. "Does this mean we can finally prove that Booth killed Garrett." I say bringing tears to my eyes. "Hailey I think it best for you to sit down for a minute" he says but I ignore him. "No tell me right now. Can we prove he killed him" I yell. Everyone is definitely staring at me now but I don't care. "Ummm no actually Garrett is alive Hailey and he is on his way to see you right now." He replied. I don't move. I can't move but then I feel myself get dizzy and everything goes black.

Jays perspective

Hailey keeps yelling at the guy in the other end of the phone but then she stops yelling and just stands there terrified. I don't know what to do so I look at everyone else but they are all waiting for me to do something. I stand up and trying to take Hailey somewhere more private so she can talk but before I get to her she faints. I run over and catch her just in time. I help to to the ground and try to shake her awake. I smile and grab my glass of water. "Yesssss I've always wanted to do this." I yell as I pour in onto her face. She jolts up and grabs her phone. She tries to run but I stop her. "No you don't understand I need to leave before he gets here. I don't want to do something I will regret." She yells. Suddenly I hear a man talking behind me. "What are you going to do kill the man who came back from everyone thinking he was murdered." Hailey sits back down letting out a loud Uggghh. I turn around and see Garrett. "Oh my god." I say. I AM SHOCKED. "Are you going to give me a hug or something" he says as he helps Hailey up. She laughs a bit and slaps him in the face. "Get out" she yells. She starts to cry and run away but I take he hand and pull her into a hug. I look over her shoulder and give everyone and 'what do I do now' look but everyone shakes their head like they don't know.

Haileys perspective

Jay is hugging me tightly and I feel safe. I start to pull away and look at Garrett. I take off my shoe and pull out a ring. "Here is your ring back. I keep it in my shoe to remind me not to date cheating bastards like you. If you want to see MY daughter, since you lost all of your rights the second you disappeared Sargent Scott will give the spot where we buried her. Booth killed her and I sent him to jail. I couldn't prove that he killed you cause well it seems you ran away when you found out I was pregnant." I say. He just stares at me "I wasn't cheating on you." He replies. I just laugh a little to myself. "When you went missing it broke me but it's okay because I got a lot less sad when Tessa reaches out to me. She'll be expecting your call since you also have a 5 year old son now. His name is Orange. That's what you get for having an affair with a crack head. Just so you know Bella would've turned 5 yesterday."
I walk past him and laugh a bit. "Jay shifts over let's go. I could really use some tequila right about now." I say. What I told Garrett wasn't a surprise to anyone since everyone already knew everything. "He's stupider than I remember" I say to jay loud enough for everyone to hear.
