I was released from the infirmary and Lady Artemis said, "Pack up time to move." Mia directed me to where my bag was.
Next to my bed was a thin black long sleeve shirt also there was a pair of black running boots (I didn't even know they made a thing) and a pair of stretchy by really tough black pants. I looked around and noticed everyone else was wearing the exact same thing. I didn't pay attention before apparently.
I followed the herd of girls out of a the cabin. When we got out Abigail handed me a bronze knife with a sheath to tie around my leg and tuck into my knee high boot. There was also a silver quiver full of arrows with the same bronze tips, but without the hell hounds now I couldn't do anything with them. I tied the sheath around my leg and tucked it in my boot. Quickly I slung the bow and quiver over my shoulder and stood waiting. Elizabeth walked over and stood by me. "Now what do we do? I asked. "Now," Elizabeth said, "We run."
And we ran, before we had gotten very far I was breathing heavily. Mia and Elizabeth looked over at me, and Elizabeth said "You know sometimes we talk to make the time go faster." I said, "Ok.... what.... do.... you... want... to know," as her breathing started to even out. Mia said, "Well how about what you were doing before you found us." I got a startled look on my face and she said, "That's ok if you don't want to you don't have to."
