Chapter 4- One month in!

'Oh God I am so going to be late. My life is over. I'm screwed. My turkey is cooked like a bad Thanksgiving dinner.' You thought as you screeched into the parking lot. Why exactly were you panicking? Because there was apparently an email sent while you were asleep to report to work three hours early, luckily you thought to take a shower the night before so all you had to do was throw on some work clothes. You pulled into the parking space, grabbed your backpack and sprinted inside. You ran to find the director but he was no where to be found... Strangely enough no one else was there either. You checked the e-mail again, "To: All. Hello everyone, we've got some work ahead of us. Fortunately it won't be too much, you all can report in about three hours later than usual time. Thanks! Director."

"OH YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!!" You screeched aloud, it rang through the empty set and you fell to your knees. You came in six hours early. This had to be a record, you looked around and sighed, "Uh... Hey." Someone said. You looked up to see a familiar, fluffy haired horse, "Hey Jean." You said quietly, "Hey." He said with a grin, he sipped a Starbucks coffee and sat down next to you, "I'm guessing you read the email wrong too?" He asked and finished the rest of the coffee, "Yeah. So what do we do while we wait?" He laid back and closed his eyes, "Sleep." He said and put an arm over his eyes, "Wanna go to the Lounge? You'll be more comfy." You said and stood. He yawned and sat up and you held out a hand and helped him up, the two of you went into the room and he laid down on a nearby couch while you took another sofa. Jean fell asleep quickly and you listened to some music before dozing off yourself.

You felt something nudge your face and you slowly opened your eyes, "Wha..." You took out your headphones and noticed Jean sitting next to you and poking your cheek, "(y/n)!" He whined, "What?..." You said groggily, "I'm bored and it's still three hours until everyone else is coming." He said and continued to poke your cheek. "What do you want me to do about it?" You asked while you stretched, "I don't know. Be entertaining." You groaned, "Can't I go back to sleep?" He shook his head, "Fine but I'm not going anywhere outside of the studio." You said, he crossed his arms, "Deal. So what do you want to do besides sleep?" You shrugged, "We can watch youtube on my laptop." He nodded excitedly, "Sure! There's a bunch of cool things you should watch!" He said as you took the computer from your backpack. You opened up the browser and went to the website and let him type in the videos he wanted to see, he then sat next to you and put the laptop on both of your laps, "This one is really funny!" He said happily as the video loaded and played.

You laughed at a funny part of a new video you two looked up, eventually he ran out of things to show you so the two of you started watching Pewdiepie and were laughing at the jokes and reactions he was making, the two of you were curled up laughing and didn't realize it was almost time to head into work, Jean looked up at the clock in the room, "Meh. Work time is upon us." You chuckled, "Well we can watch more videos later." You said and turned off the computer and looked at your phone, you had a message from Hanji, "(Y/N). TEXT ME WHEN YOU GET THIS. I HAVE IMPORTANT NEWS FOR YOU." You sighed and turned off your phone, she would be here soon anyways, you turned to the guy next to you, "Don't you have a uniform to put on?" You asked and playfully nudged him, "Yes and I hate wearing it... It's so skin tight and it's uncomfortable." He said and nudged you back. The two of you heard a knock on the door and it opened to reveal the Director, "What are you two doing here so early?" You sat up, "Well we read the email wrong so we came in here, napped for a couple hours then watched youtube videos." The Director looked at you two surprised, "You got here six hours early?" Jean nodded, "Yup. But it was fun getting to laze around." He said nonchalantly, the Director nodded, "Well enough lazing around, you two can help with set up for the day." You nodded and he groaned but got up with you and the two of you followed your boss.

Maybe the start of the day was bad but it turned out pretty great!
