"I couldn't believe my mother." I thought. I ran up to my room slammed my door and cried. "Me......babysit...............get a job." I sobbed. I rolled on to my back and picked up my stuffed Leonardo doll. "Oh Leo, if only I could live with you. I could be your April." I said. I hugged the doll and looked over at the time. 3:59 pm it said. I turned on my bedroom TV just as the show started. This is the episode where the purple dragons get taken over by the ancient Chinese sorcerer. "Sweetie can we talk?" Asked my mom as she knocked on my door. I paused the show. "Come in." I said angrily. "Alexandria, really your in 7th grade its time to grow up and not watch shows for 6 year olds." said my mom as she looked at the TV.

"What do you want?" I asked. "Sweetie, your father and I think were spoiling you too much, you need to learn whats it like to have your own money and work for it." she said as she sat down. "Mom, i'm in 7th grade, nobody's gonna hire me, I hate babysitting, my grades suck, plus I don't ask for a lot." I said. "I'm not saying you work at McDonalds, you can babysit for some kids at karate, and if you study and work hard then you can tutor." she said. "Mom the only kids I know at Karate are in 5th grade and up. They don't need a babysitter." I said. "Just make a flyer and drop it off at Karate." said my mom as she left.

I turned my show back on. "I wish I was a character in the show." i said with a tear roll down my face and onto the doll. The. Something magical happened.

I saw a flash of light and when I could see again, I was in New York city, not the real one, this one was different, it seemed animated. Then it hit me. I'm in the show Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
