the salty air enveloped renjun's senses as he stepped onto the sand. the breeze soft and comforting, renjun walked towards the water, letting his feet get hit by the waves as he waited for jaemin. he stared into the distance humming a playful tune.

"you sound nice," renjun recognized that voice as jaemin.

"thanks peach." jaemin flushed the color of his hair. he sat next to renjun laying his head on his shoulder.

"so why'd you tell me to come?" renjun asked,

"it's a date duh." jaemin giggled, throwing himself onto renjun even more.

"oh, that's cool." there was silence after that, just the two appreciating each other and the atmosphere. that was until jaemin broke the silence.

"want me to get peach drinks for the both of us?" jaemin asked.

"sure, but be back quick!"

jaemin came back with two cans of peach drinks, handing one to renjun and opening one for himself. jaemin took a sip and sat back down, leaning on renjun again.

"what if i spilled this on you right now." renjun said out of nowhere.

"uhhh why?" jaemin furrowed his eyebrows, and that's when he felt liquid being poured on his head. the sweet icky smell surrounded jaemin and he was sticky all over.

"i will end you." jaemin splashed his drink onto renjun. the two running around the beach, yelling and crying came from renjun as he tried to get away from jaemin's wrath.

"please no! jaemin i'm sorry!" renjun screamed, tripping over his own legs landing on the sand.

"that's what you get!" jaemin held his stomach from laughing too hard, and in the process falling on top on renjun.

the two stayed like that for a while, somehow the mess of limbs turned into an embrace and the sun started to set, a beautiful orange-pink hue covered the entire sky.

"hey renjun?"

"yeah?"

"be my boyfriend?"

"yeah,"

and the two sat there, pink cheeks and honey skin, covered in sticky peach juice with a mix of sweat, but their hearts were filled with love.
