--It's been three days and I haven't talked to Ryan once, well I guess it made the job pretty easy because he wasn't showing up at school. I mean for some reason I feel a little empty that he's not here. I try to shrug it off and walk to my last class, music.
I speedily walk down the crowded halls, trying to make it there before the bell rings.
I look up at all the people around me, some people are rushing to class, some are hanging around by their lockers. Two different types of people.
I finally reach my class, mostly everyone's in here, I walk over to my instrument. I play the clarinet. I would say I'm decent, but half of the clarinet players in here are like professionals, I just do it for fun. After it's all connected, I blow into it to make sure it sounds clear. I nod my head and Mrs. Scott walks into the music room, a short blonde standing behind her."Okay ladies and gents, we have a new student, make her feel welcomed, she would like to play clarinet so clarinet people, your job to make her feel at home" She nods her head at us.
"Introduce yourself Hun" he waves to us."My names Everly" she has a faint smile on her face and waves to the class. She looks really shy, I smile at her as her eyes gaze me.
"Okay Everly, Tessa and Jai will be your guides for the next two weeks, you can go take a spot with them" Mrs. Scott gestures towards us. I let out a small sigh, I hate being the tour guide. She daintily walks over to us and takes a seat in between Jai and I.
"Hi, I'm Tessa Rogers" I smile and stick out my head.
"Everly Ward" She shakes my hand.
"Hey Jai Gray" He does this nod at her and she smiles in response.
"Everly, tomorrow we'll get you an instrument, for now take a seat beside me, the rest of you sit up straight and play"

"Run five laps and that will be the last session for the night" Jordyn clapped her hands together. A wave of frustrated groans were made as we lined up at the starting point. Today we have practice with the football team, they had to do our workout, we had to do theirs. The football players walked over to the starting line when,"Ah, shit I'm late!" Yelled a familiar voice. I heard most of the boys laugh, and a few of them groan. I look up at the boy who missed the whole practice. Ryan came into site. I sucked in my breath threw my teeth, what the hell is he doing? He doesn't come to school for three days and shows up at the end of practice?
"Where the hell have you been?" Isaac shouts. I saw a sad expression in his face for a spilt second and the stuttered out he was sick.
"Jesus must have been a killer cold if you missed three god damn days" Nole smirked. Ryan rolled his eyes and ran to the starting line.
"What do you think your doing you can't just show up at the end of our practice" Jordyn had a questioned look on her face.
"Haven't you realized, it's my practice too, I'm captain of the football team" he smirked at her followed by a wink. She rolled her eyes and took her spot at the starting line. Ryan made a appearance beside me, I mentally curse at him.
"Miss me?" He smiled at me.
"Only you wish" I winked at him as the whistle blew and I ran off. I ran one lap, two laps, three laps, four laps and finally the fifth. I bend over, hands on my knees breathing heavily.
"You run pretty fast" Bailey comes up behind me doing the same thing.
"Thanks" I laugh, still trying to catch air. I stand up and wipe the sweat off my upper lip.
"Hit the change room" Jordyn yells passing the finish line. I let out a sigh of relief. I walk to the change room, Bailey following. I walk to where my bag is placed and grab the change of clothes I have in it. I change into a loose grey t-shirt and TNA tights.
