Jack receives a glare from a waiting toby as she finally strides out of the steamy bathroom

She ventures her room's flurry of clothing items before settling on an outfit of her regular quirk.

Jack walks down the stairs with a motivated pep. She walks to the door to begin her journey to Degrassi with a smile

It lasts a mere three seconds till she sees a familiar face behind the door "Toby! JT is here"

The girl pushes past him roughly, not expecting him to grab her elbow

He turns the spiteful girl to face his sad face "why are you acting this way?" he winces at the look he's met with "rewind, is this how the whole year's gonna be?"

Jack releases a deep sigh, her left hand raising up to pinch off her nose for a tense moment "what do you want me to say? My aunt sends me to a nut ward and your parting gift is a break up."

JT's hurt continues as he stops the girl from turning away once more "what was I supposed to do, I'm a teenage boy. I can't waste what could possibly be prime dating years on helping you keep yourself together"

"Helping me 'keep myself together'?" a fiery look lights in her eyes as she steps to him angrily "Enlighten me oh great one, how can you fix me?"

"That's not what I meant" JT's arms are thrown in exasperation that jack ignores as her voice matches his in a screaming match

"Oh you big strong man, tell me more about how I need you to give my life meaning" her face is bordered on hysteria as the pair get further animated and in each other's faces

"Guys!" Toby's voice dips into a tone of scolding as he separates the two "weren't you gonna bike to the school with Emma and Manny?"

Jack takes the bait and steps around JT, he watches her ride off on a blue bike

His face is smug till Toby continues "and you, what the hell was that?"

So why are we wearing boxing gloves again?" Jack fidgets with the heavy hand holders

"It is for my protest of verbal and physical harm to living beings" Emma's voice airs out as if to say "duh"

Manny and Emma are behind the girl as she strides confidently "Okay, well at least-" the girl grunts as she and her bike hit the ground

"Are you kidding me! Watch where you're going" a male voice yells out. Jack begins to shake at the familiarity of the tone

She sits in a small daze on the ground of the crosswalk, Emma fumes as she attempts to approach the screaming man but is stopped by Manny who answers with a nod to a lanky boy approaching their friend

"Are you okay? Did we hit you? Here let me uh help" the boy's stammering pace retrieves her from her daze but she is placed into another as she looks into his wide and panicked eyes

"Um yeah, that'd be um sure" she sticks out her hand to the boy but forgets that both hands are gloved

He simply laughs before removing the gloves and placing them around his shoulders, he stands her on her feet and turns to pick up her bike.
